    Pick-up from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco around 4:00 AM. Your guide will greet the group, give a quick briefing, and you’ll start the drive through the mountains toward the town of Mollepata.

    Stop in Mollepata for a warm local breakfast before continuing the journey. This is also a chance to stretch, use restrooms, and adjust to altitude before reaching the trailhead.

    Arrival at Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), the starting point of the hike. Here the guide explains the route, altitude, and safety tips. Optional horses are available for an extra cost.
