    Ollantaytambo

    This is the safest option to visit Machu Picchu when you make a reservation at short notice. On the first day, you will travel by bus very early in the morning (pick up from the hotel at 3:45 a.m.) from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train to Machu Picchu. Arrival at the Ministry of Culture in Aguas Calientes is scheduled for 8:00 a.m., as early as possible, in order to obtain your care number. Afterwards, you will be asked to return in the afternoon to collect your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu for the following day.
