We will pick you up at your hotel. We will contact you 15 minutes before arrival. If you are outside the city of Cusco, we will arrange a meeting point.
Meet at your Cusco hotel at 6:00 a.m. and travel to Abra Málaga (4,316 m). Enjoy scenic views of the Sacred Valley and villages like Chinchero and Ollantaytambo. Pick up bicycles and ride 50 km downhill through puna and cloud forest, stopping at Huamanmarka ruins and ending with a 3 km walk to Pispitayoc. Overnight in a cozy local home.
After breakfast, learn how locals roast and prepare coffee. Hike the ancient Inca trail Qhapaq Ñan, passing coca and fruit plantations while spotting exotic birds. Reach Huancarcasa viewpoint (1,750 m) for panoramic valley views, descend to Qellomayo (1,200 m) for lunch, and visit the thermal baths at Cocalmayo (1,450 m). Arrive in Santa Teresa for the night.
Start with a hike through coffee and coca plantations to the Hydroelectric station (3 h) for lunch and a rest amid lush Andean-Amazon landscapes. Continue walking along the train tracks, crossing rivers and small bridges, arriving in Aguas Calientes (1,950 m) by late afternoon. Free time to explore or relax before visiting Machu Picchu the next day.
Wake up at 4:00 a.m. and hike 1.5 h to Machu Picchu (2,400 m). Enjoy a guided tour of the main areas, learning about Inca history and architecture, then free time for photos or optional Huayna Picchu. Return to Aguas Calientes to collect belongings, take the train to Ollantaytambo, and a tour vehicle back to Cusco, concluding the adventure.
