    Cusco

    We will depart from Cusco early, between 6:20 and 6:50 A.M., to begin our exploration of the Sacred Valley. The crisp morning air and clouds hovering over the terraces set the perfect scene. Throughout the day, our guide will share the history and cultural significance of each site, giving plenty of opportunities for photos and to soak in the breathtaking landscapes.

    Chinchero

    Our first stop is Chinchero at 3,762 meters (12,352 ft). Here, we’ll visit the Textile Interpretation Center and watch local artisans weave alpaca wool. Guests can try spinning wool themselves to experience traditional techniques. A stroll through the village and its colonial church highlights the town’s architecture and local customs.

    Moray

    Next, we’ll head to Moray at 3,500 meters (11,483 ft). The circular terraces showcase how the Incas experimented with crops and microclimates.     In the afternoon, we visit Maras, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Pisaq. At Maras, explore thousands of traditional salt pools and learn how salt has been harvested for centuries.     Ausangate ATV Adventure

    We’ll depart from Cusco at 4:00 A.M., heading to Hanchipacha. The sunrise illuminates the peaks and valleys, while the crisp Andean air wakes your senses. Our guide will review the route and provide essential safety instructions. At Hanchipacha, enjoy a buffet breakfast featuring quinoa, bread, fresh fruits, and hot drinks. Meet local residents and hear stories about life in the Ausangate region, connecting deeply with the culture.

    After a 15 minute safety briefing and ATV practice session, we’ll embark on a two hour ATV ride through high trails, deep valleys, and Andean plains, with llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas along the way. A 40–50 minute hike takes us to the start of the trail surrounded by rocks, grasslands, and turquoise lagoons. At the Ausangate viewpoint, admire stunning glaciers and colorful lakes. Capture photos, explore, and take in the high altitude scenery. Lunch is served at 2:00 P.M., and we return to Cusco around 5:00 P.M.
