Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 09:00 AM or 01:00 PM, depending on your selected schedule. On Sundays, the tour starts at 10:00 AM. You may also choose to meet us directly at Cusco’s main square.
The Cusco City Tour starts at Qoricancha, the most significant Inca temple dedicated to the Sun God. Here, you will admire the precision of its stonework and learn about its astronomical and ceremonial relevance. Your guide will also explain how the Spanish built the Santo Domingo Convent over the original structure, creating a unique blend of Inca and colonial architecture
Next, we visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive Inca fortress known for its massive stone blocks perfectly fitted together. Walk along its terraces while enjoying panoramic views of Cusco as your guide explains its military, ceremonial, and cultural importance.
The tour continues to Qenqo, a ceremonial and astronomical site featuring carved stone altars, underground passages, and amphitheater like formations. Learn about its role in Inca rituals, including offerings and water ceremonies.
We then explore Puca Pucara, a former military checkpoint. Discover its plazas, towers, and water channels while understanding its strategic role in protecting Cusco.
