    Cusco

    The tour starts with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, former capital of the Inca Empire, at a pre-coordinated schedule depending on passenger availability and train service. From there you will transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas towards Ollantaytambo, crossing Andean landscapes surrounded by imposing mountains and small traditional villages that still retain ancestral customs. The exact departure time may vary (between 03:30 and 04:00 a.m. in some cases) depending on the confirmed train schedule, always looking for the best combination to optimize the visitor experience.

    When arriving in the city of Ollantaytambo, we will board the train to start an unforgettable journey. Along the way, we will be able to enjoy stunning Andean landscapes, lush flora and spectacular views of the Urubamba River, while being engulfed by the natural beauty surrounding the path. This tour, full of charm and tranquility, will lead us to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, gateway to the majestic Inca citadel.

    After the scenic train ride (07 : 05 – 08 : 27 approx.), arrive at Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, a village located on the banks of the Urubamba River and surrounded by mountains. From this point you board the bus that ascends to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Historical Shrine. After the guided tour, there will be free time for lunch (not included).

    Entrance to Machu Picchu Historical Shrine, an iconic Inca citadel located high in the Andes. During the guided tour you will visit the main sectors of the archaeological complex: - Main Square Temple of the Sun Temple of the Three Windows Intihuatana Urban and agricultural sectors - Panoramic viewpoints The imposing Inca constructions, harmoniously integrated with the natural environment, allow you to appreciate the finely worked stone architecture, surrounded by the flora and fauna of the area. Accompanied by a professional guide, the history, ceremonial function and architectural relevance of the site will be explained, as well as the Inca constructive techniques and their close relationship with the Andean landscape. At the end of the visit, you can also tour the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes, where its artisan centers and welcoming atmosphere stand out.

    The tour begins with pick-up from the hotel, then exits by tourist transport to the south of the region, crossing high Andean landscapes and rural communities. The schedule allows a comfortable start, avoiding extreme early mornings and favoring a more relaxed experience from the beginning of the tour.

    Start of the adventure in four-wheelers between 09:15 and 10:45 a.m., traveling high Andean routes with panoramic views of mountains and extensive plains. Safety instructions and basic equipment are provided before you begin. The ATV journey allows you to approach the closest point to the Mountain of Colors, considerably reducing physical effort compared to the traditional walk. Subsequently, a light hike of approximately 20 to 30 minutes is made to the main viewpoint, located at more than 5,000 m.a.s.l. From this point we can see the natural formations of reddish, yellow and greenish colors, the product of mineral sedimentation over millions of years. Free time for photographs and rest before starting the return in four-wheelers.

    Start of the walk to the Humantay Lagoon. The route lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the pace of the group. Horse hire is available for those who prefer assistance during the ascent (not included). The lagoon is located at the foot of the snowy Humantay. Its turquoise waters contrast with the mountainous surroundings and nearby glaciers. Very good for taking extraordinary photos. Free time is available for photographs and explanation of the guide on the geography and natural importance of the place.
