What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meeting point is at the top of Gaisberg Mountain, in the center of the roundabout at the main parking area. Easily accessible by public transport with bus no. 151 to the final stop "Gaisbergspitze". You can also arrive by car. Free parking available at both summit and landing site.
What to expect
We meet at the summit of Gaisberg, where your certified pilot provides a detailed safety briefing and explains every step of the flight until you feel completely comfortable. No previous experience is required.
With a few easy steps from a flat meadow, we gently lift off and you relax back into your secure, comfortable harness. After the first moments in the air, you begin to relax and smoothly glide higher above the landscape.
During the flight, enjoy panoramic views of Salzburg’s historic old town with the Fortress Hohensalzburg, the surrounding alpine peaks and nearby lakes. You can switch anytime between a calm scenic glide, dynamic turns or a more adrenaline-filled experience, depending on how you feel in the air.
Landing is smooth and easy on a wide meadow, and you remain comfortably seated in your harness – no running required.
The total experience takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours including meeting, preparation, flight and landing.
Optional photo & video packages and extended thermal flights are available as upgrades.
