  After the ascent by cable car, a leisurely, about 20-minute walk leads to the famous viewpoint 5 Fingers. The spectacular platform rises far above a rock face about 400 metres high and offers unforgettable panoramic views of Lake Hallstatt, Hallstatt and the impressive mountains of the Salzkammergut. Each of the five platforms is individually designed and provides a special experience – including a glass platform and several extraordinary photo spots. Along the way, information boards provide exciting insights into the geology as well as the animal and plant life of the Dachstein Nativity Stone.
