Enter the Grand Hall, the main entrance, where you can take in the grandeur and the informative displays that outline the museum's history and significance.
Next, see the Hanging Obelisk, an architectural marvel suspended to allow a rare view from below, symbolizing the ancient Egyptians' connection to the heavens. Marvel at the statue of Ramses II, a symbol of one of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. Ascend the Grand Staircase, surrounded by remarkable artifacts, leading you through Egypt’s dynastic history. Explore 12 exhibition halls, featuring treasures from Egypt’s prehistoric era to the Roman period. After your indoor exploration, enjoy a stroll through the exterior gardens for stunning photo opportunities. This tour covers the limited-access sections before the museum's full opening.
