The Nevado Humantay is a perpetual snow mountain with active glacier tongues, it has a singular beauty where you can easily appreciate the "seracs" (compact snow of bluish and green tones), natural cracks, ice caves with stalactites and stalagmites of ice. In this place you can also observe the biodiversity of flora and fauna of the place. Being one of the tutelary snowfalls of the city of Cusco.

Due to the thaws, the lake or cocha of Humantay was formed, paradisiacal lagoon of turquoise waters with a singular scenic beauty, the coloration of its waters is due to the minerals that are inside it and its greater depth is of approximately 4 meters.
