Your adventure begins early in Cusco with a 4:30 am pickup. As the city wakes up, you'll head into the Sacred Valley and stop in Ollantaytambo for a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant.
Then we’ll continue to KM 82, where you’ll meet the team, pass the checkpoint, and begin the trek. Embark on a 4-hour hike past ancient Inca sites and panoramic views of Patallacta.
At Hatunchaca, refuel with a delicious lunch crafted by our chefs using fresh, local ingredients. Afterward, hike two more hours to Ayapata campsite, where your tent will be ready with a traditional tea service. Then enjoy a satisfying dinner to close out the day.

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a 4-hour uphill trek to Dead Woman’s Pass (4,215 m / 13,829 ft), the highest point on the Inca Trail. At the summit, we’ll pause to soak in the serenity as your guide performs a traditional offering ceremony to the Apus (local mountain spirits).
Next comes a two-hour descent into Pacaymayu Valley for a well-earned lunch. Then we’ll tackle a gentler two-hour climb to the second pass, exploring the Inca sites of Runkuracay and Sayacmarca along the way. Finally, we’ll arrive at Chaquicocha campsite, where you can unwind, stargaze, and enjoy a warm dinner under the Andean sky.
Today’s trek unfolds through ever changing landscapes teeming with rich flora and fauna.
On the way, we’ll visit Phuyupatamarca (“City in the Clouds”) and Intipata (“Terraces of the Sun”), pausing at each to rest and take in sweeping panoramas.
Then, we’ll arrive at the final camp for lunch and some free time.
We’ll rise before dawn for the trek’s grand finale: Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas.
Together, we’ll hike an hour to the Sun Gate, soaking in panoramic mountain vistas and a breathtaking sunrise over the ruins. From there, we’ll follow Circuit 1 on a gentle descent to the perfect spot for that iconic Machu Picchu photo, then continue on to the main entrance.
Next, we’ll re-enter through the gate for a Circuit 3 journey, a guided tour of the citadel’s temples and terraces.
Afterward, we’ll board a bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have free time to stroll the town or unwind at your own pace. In the afternoon, we’ll take the panoramic Vistadome train to Ollantaytambo
in Ollantaytambo settle into private, comfortable transport back to your hotel.
