What to expect
Continue to Soraypampa and begin the two-hour hike with your local guide. The climb becomes steeper near the top, but we keep a comfortable pace and take breaks whenever needed.
The reward is incredible: bright turquoise water beneath the Humantay glacier, surrounded by some of the Andes’ most dramatic mountains. At 4,200 m / 13,779 ft, you’ll have time to rest, enjoy the view, and capture unforgettable photos.
After a two-hour descent, return to Mollepata for a freshly prepared lunch, then relax on the drive back to Cusco. Hotel drop-off is around 6:00 p.m. Transportation, breakfast, lunch, a professional guide, and trekking poles are included.
