    Day 1

    CUSCO – KM 82 – LLACTAPATA – AYAPATA

    The first morning we will start in your hotel and drive for 3 hours to km 82 to start the Inca Trail, on the way we stop at Ollantaytambo for Breakfast. Once in Km 82, we will pass the checkpoint and start hiking the Inca trail for 4 hours to lunch and then after lunch another 2 hours to the campsite called Ayapata at 3300 meters. We spent the night in comformtable tents.

  • Day 2

    AYAPATA – WARMIWAÑUSKA– RUNCURACCAY – CHAQUICOCHA

    We will wake you up with a cup of coffee in your tent and then start packing for the hardest, longest and most beautiful day of the trek. After breakfast surrounded by mountain we will start hiking from the campsite around 6:00 am, these days we have 2 mountains to pass: Dead women's Pass with 4200 meters and Runcuraccay Pass with 4000 meters. The first Mountain is 4-hours up and then 2hours down to Pacaymayu Valley where we will have lunch, after lunch ist a 2-hours up and then, it's another 2-hour down to Chaquicocha, the second campsite with 3600 meters. This is one one the most beautiful campsites to stargaze.

    CHAQUICCOCHA – PHUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYWAYNA

    With the hardest part over, we start a bit later on the 3rd day of the Inca Trail. After breakfast, we start with a gentle 2-hours up and down along the cloud forest to later drop almost 1000 meters in only 4-hours to the Lunch place which is also our campiste called Wiñayhuayna at 2600 meters. The day is relatively easy and we will see the most beautiful sites, along teh Inca Trail, also we will arrive only for lunch to the campsite so we have time to explore the sites around, have shower or chase llamas that are rooming around.

    WIÑAYWAYNA – MACHU PICCHU

    On the final and most important day, we will start early around 3.30 am packing and have an early breakfast and then go to a checkpoint just 5 minutes from the campsite where we will wait in line atthe gate with all the Inca Trail hikers until 5:30 am, once we pass the control point, we will hike for 1 hour to Sungate, mostly flat and then another hour down along the last part of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the arrival to the Lost City is around 8:am. After some rest, toilets, coffee, we start the last tour in the Magical city for about 2-hours to later go down to Aguas Calientes, have lunch and then take the Panoramic train back to Cusco.
