Embark on an adventurous 6km return hike through a dense rainforest, to Samoa's Volcanic Crater, Lake Lanoto'o. The half-day excursion is perfect for travelers who like to get off the beaten track to see and do something a little different.

Please note that this hike can be challenging, with steep and slippery sections, so it is essential to wear footwear with good tread and be prepared for a moderate level of physical exertion.
Meet at the car park the Marina or Samoa Tourism Fale.
8:00am Pick up at central Apia accommodation and a short drive up the Cross Island Road.
The road to the track gets rough toward the end and we'll get as close as we can before venturing out on foot. After arriving at the end of the 4wd track we start to ascend the crater - a steep hike, sometimes wet and slippery but well worth the effort. Swimming and snacks at the lake before returning on the trail and back to the car for lunch before returning to Apia.
Return to meeting point or be dropped off in Apia.
