Our hike begins in the Sacred Valley and ascends along an Inca stone path to the archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna. After visiting Wiñay Wayna, we will stop for lunch with an incredible view of the mountain. After enjoying our meal, we will walk through the lush green cloud forest that covers the mountain, observing a wide variety of plants, flowers, orchids, and birds along the way. After a full day of hiking, we will arrive at the Sun Gate, where you will have your first view of Machu Picchu spread out over the mountain ridge.
