This Inca trail is perfect for people of all levels of hiking experience, whether you are just starting out or have a lot of trekking experience. The trail is incredibly easy to navigate, as 95% of the way is downhill. and we passed through a very important archaeological center that is Chichero, crazy landscapes, a part of the Inca trail that is not very traveled until now, vegetation that constantly changes and a waterfall that you will love, it takes a total of 3.5 hours to complete it, making it an ideal option for outdoor walks with family or friends.

The Inca Trail is a charming adventure that begins in the Chinchero Archaeological Park. This former Inka regional capital offers a splendid experience with its notable Inka terraces, sacred wakas, main plazas and a colonial church, it will take an hour to explore this captivating place, where you can also visit local textile centers to learn from local experts how knit ponchos, sweaters and how to obtain colors from nature.

As you venture along the trail, you will be surrounded by eucalyptus trees and small waterfalls, as well as vibrant crops, flourishing orchards, and diverse wildlife. An imposing viewpoint presents impressive views of the snow-capped mountains and the sacred valley of the Incas. Don't miss to see the Inca terraces that are still located below the bejetacion and are not discovered, and the impressive Poc Poc waterfall, located halfway along the walk. This captivating waterfall is surrounded by lush vegetation and provides the perfect backdrop to admire the graceful flight of hummingbirds. Take your time here, immerse yourself in the beauty of this place and capture extraordinary photos and videos. It is also an ideal place to enjoy a delicious box lunch. Continuing towards Urquillos, your journey will follow the riverbank, passing more enchanting waterfalls and revealing the dense and unique vegetation of the valley.
