Operating Schedule: After your arrival at Cusco airport, you will be picked up and brought to your hotel (three or four stars). Spend the day relaxing and adjusting to the altitude, or take an optional city tour of Cusco (own expense). The tour will visit attractions such as: The Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. After the tour ends, you will be driven you back to your hotel. Overnight at 3 start hotels: Casa Andina Classic, San Agustin International or similar standard.

The Pisac Market is one of the most famous markets in the Cusco región, Quechua communities from the surrounding highlands come to Pisac to sell their produce and stock up on supplies for the week, A large section of the market is dedicated to tourist-oriented souvenir stalls where you can find weavings, jewellery, ponchos, hats, Andean instruments, ceramics, alpaca products and a whole range of other gifts and souvenirs to take home with you. The handcraft market is open every day from 9am to 4.30pm and is a good place to pick up some gifts all in the one place.
The Pisac Ruins are situated at the eastern end of the Sacred Valley, 1 hour from Cusco. Located high above the valley floor and the modern colonial town of Pisac, the ruins are considered to be one of the finest remaining Inca archeologic sites in the country.
The archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a former Inca administrative center and Gateway to the Antisuyo (the Amazon corner of the Inca empire), sits at the northern end of the Sacred Valley. At the time of the spanish invasión and conquest of Peru Ollantaytambo served as the lst Stronghold for Inca Manco Yupanqui, leader of the Inca resistance at the time. Nowadays the Ollantaytambo ruins and town are an important and popular tourist aaattraction in the Sacred Valley. The town’s primary is Ollantaytambo Fortress on the outskirts of the settlemet in a section known as the Temple Hill.
The small rustic town of Chinchero lies off the main road between Cusco and Urubamba. It sits at 3762m.a.s.l., sois higher tan Cusco. It is towered over by the Vilcabamba rango ande the snowcapped peak of Salkantay. This Little town i smissed by many but has some interestng spots for visitors to see. There is a great display of Inca architecture, ruins and megalithic carved rocks.
We will return back to Cusco around 6 p.m., a good time for the dinner (no included) and back to your hotel
