It's hard to get anywhere around Huaraz without seeing the enormous twin summits of Huascaran (6768m). Not only is huascaran the highest mountain in Peru, but it's the highest tropical mountain in the world!

It's size and beauty bring climbers from all around he world, and the entire national park surrounding the Cordillera Blanca is named after it. This climb is for serious climbers seeking serious altitude!

    Day 1

    Hike to 1st base camp

    We will pick you up from your hostal in Huaraz, then hike from Musho to the 1st base camp at 4330m

    Climb to 5260m

    Here trekkers will ascend to the second base camp at 5260m

    • Day 3

    Climb to high camp (6000m)

    On the 3rd day trekkers will climb to high camp and spend the night here at 6000m

    Reach the summit

    Here we will have an early start and make our way to the summit!, before returning to high camp for a second night at 6000m
