Today we follow the original Inca Trail from Lucmabamba to the Llactapata Pass, crossing the Santa Teresa Valley with a variety of landscapes (green nature and a quiet Inca trail). Upon reaching the ruins of Patallacta, we have the first view of Machu Picchu and all the Andes mountains in the area that are incredible views. We also explored the Llactapata Incan site. Then we descend through lush forests of bamboo and coffee (Valle de Aobamba) along a path back to Hydro (two hours of extreme descent to the riverbank).
