Manu National Park in Peru, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, spans 1.7 million hectares from the Amazon rainforest to the Andes mountains. It's divided into three zones: Special Use for research and education, Reserved for authorized scientists, and Cultural for indigenous communities like the Matsiguenga and Amahuaca. Boasting over 800 bird species, 200 mammals, and numerous reptiles, amphibians, plants, and trees, including jaguars and blue-headed macaws, the park is a biodiversity hotspot. Its stunning landscapes, from rainforests to snow-capped mountains and the Manu Canyon, are strictly protected to preserve this unique ecosystem.

We set off from Cusco in our cozy bus, ascending towards the charming town of Paucartambo.
On the route, we explore the ancient Ninamarca funeral towers, relics of the Pre-Inca civilization.
Our journey continues through a stunning cloud forest, a haven for diverse flora including exotic orchids. This is where our first hike takes place, offering opportunities to spot Peru's national bird, the Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola Peruviana), various monkeys, and numerous bird species. If fortune favors us, we might even glimpse the rare Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos Ornatus), unique to South America
Our day concludes as we reach BAMBU LODGE in the evening, where we'll stay in a traditional lodge equipped with showers, toilets, and private rooms.
After enjoying a delightful breakfast in the morning, the group is transferred to the port of Atalaya. Here, the adventure continues as we embark on a journey to our lodge, lasting about 45 minutes along the Alto Madre de Dios river. Guests have the opportunity to swim in the river if they wish.
The lodge is fully equipped with amenities including toilets, a kitchen, dining room, showers, and rooms furnished with beds and mosquito nets. During our travel, breathtaking landscapes unfold, complemented by the warm climate of the rainforest. In the afternoon, we venture into the jungle for an exploratory walk lasting nearly two hours.
