Explore Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) in a different way, combining adventure, Andean scenery, and the comfort of a VIP private service. On this tour, you'll ride an ATV through part of the impressive Vilcanota mountain range before continuing on foot to the mountain's viewpoint.
The experience begins with private transportation from your hotel in Cusco and includes a professional guide throughout the entire journey. Before starting the ATV ride, you'll receive the necessary instructions on how to operate the vehicle safely.
The ATV ride lasts approximately 30 minutes, reducing part of the walking distance. You'll then hike for about 20 minutes to reach the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint. The final section begins at approximately 5,000 meters (16,404 ft) above sea level, while the mountain's highest point reaches around 5,200 meters (17,060 ft) above sea level. For this reason, the hike is done at a relaxed pace, allowing each traveler to move at their own speed.

We’ll pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco. It will take about 2.5 hours to get to Rainbow Mountain from Cusco. 30 minutes before arriving at the starting point of the ATV ride and trek, we’ll have breakfast at a cozy restaurant between the mountains.

2Vinicunca Mountain
Before starting the ride, our guides will give some useful tips so you can walk safely to the top of the mountain. We will ride the ATVs for approxximately 30 minutes, however we will stop before the final part of the trek and clear the distance walking. The hike will start at 5,000 meters above sea level, which is why we need to take it calmly and slowly. Once at the top of the mountain, you’ll realize that all that hard work has paid off! Our guides will explain the origin of the mountain and will give you some free time so you can fully appreciate this natural wonder.

3Checacupe
After a whole day full of adventure, now it’s time for a well-deserved lunch. It should take about 1 hour to return to the starting point. We’ve selected a restaurant where you’ll be able to sample the best of the Peruvian cuisine. Once we’ve finished with all the activities, we’ll return to Cusco. Drop-off will be at your accommodation.
