Make your way through the Peruvian Andes and discover a place full of natural wonders and enveloping mysticism. The Salkantay Trek will take you through the most impressive landscapes of the Vilcabamba Mountain Range.
This two-day, one-night experience will allow you to immerse yourself in the exuberant nature, while at the same time letting yourself be completely enveloped by the powerful energy of the Andes.

Itinerary

1Mollepata
We will start our adventure early in the morning (Approximately at 04h00 Am), then we will travel by bus or car along the road passing through the towns of Anta and Mollepata until we arrive at Challacancha, our starting point to begin our hike.

Our hike will begin around 09h30 Am and we will walk for about 3 hours towards Soraypampa, where we will take a break and our well-deserved lunch.

3Humantay Lake
After resting for a while in our camp "Sky Camp" we will start again with our hike to the magical Humantay Lagoon, it will be a walk of approximately 02 hours.

After appreciating the wonderful turquoise lagoon, we will return to the "Sky Camp" to spend the night with a beautiful view of the stars.

After a good night's rest, we will wake up early in the morning at approximately 5:30am to enjoy a delicious breakfast before starting the trek with all our strength.

The name of our route is curious and its name is "path of the 7 snakes" which will take us to the highest point of our two-day adventure, the Salkantay pass, which is over 4638 meters above sea level or 15091.86 feet, it is important to be prepared for this moment, then we descend by a trail that will take us to Soroycocha, here our delicious lunch awaits us.

7Cusco
After resting and satisfied with our adventure, we will continue along the same path until we return to our camp "Sky Camp" where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.
