We are in San Blas neighborhood, the main artisan and touristic place in Cusco, San Blas is a hill in the city, people use steps up and down, narrow streets around, as you can read in our comments and reviews. physical effort is needed(medium to high), specially to return to the accommodations.
Casa Mirador is located at the upper part of San Blas, the reason of the panoramic and great views of Cusco; from our accommodations to San Blas' church takes 4 minutes walking (steps down), the return takes longer due deepness and the steps up.
From San Blas' church to the main square of Cusco takes 7-9 minutes walking
The distance between the accommodations and the main square of Cusco is 800-2789 feet.
Taxis will not be able to get the guests to our main door, however we always send information suggesting where to get (there is taxi stop behind the accommodations from here you just walk 1 minute steps down to get to the main door) here to avoid the steps up on your first day, especially if you have luggage.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Une chaussette usagée appartenant à d’anciens hôte retrouvé dans la chambre. Certain équipement dans la chambre auraient besoin d’être révisé. Pour les grandes personnes, la position assise est difficile sur les toilettes
Die Aussicht vom Balkon war phänomenal.
Der Weg zur Unterkunft (die Treppen) sind wirklich anstrengend, vor allem mit Gepäck. Aber der Inhaber hatte uns sogar angeboten uns abzuholen. Später haben wir einfach unterwegs Pausen eingelegt und in einem der vielen Restaurants oder Cafés etwas gegessen oder getrunken. So war der Aufstieg ganz gut auszuhalten.
Es war kalt! Es gibt keine Isolation, keine Heizung und die Dusche ist quasi ein Anbau, so dass die Temperaturen innen fast den Temperaturen draußen entsprachen. Darauf muss man sich einstellen. Wir haben uns dann ein Heizgerät geben lassen, was uns (gegen Entgelt) für einige Stunden etwas Wärme verschafft hat.

Fehlende Nachttischlampe
La vista es 100% vale la pena de subir unas escaleras. El lugar es hermosa y Carlos es tan amable. Nos ayudó bastante con logísticas no solo de cusco pero de todo nuestro viaje en el valle sagrado. Esperemos volver acá un día!
Es un punto perfecto si deseas tener un buen panorama de la ciudad del cusco ya que se puede ver la ciudad desde lo alto del hotel. 🤗
Necesitas un poco de esfuerzo físico para subir las escaleras y llegar al hotel , con la altura se te hace un poco difícil , y los taxis son pocos los que llegan hasta arriba.
Sin duda, lo mejor del alojamiento fue Carlos, el dueño. Un 10/10. Fue increíblemente amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. Se implicó muchísimo en ayudarnos y en resolver todos los problemas que nos fueron surgiendo, haciendo que nuestra experiencia fuera mucho más fácil. Además, nos dio consejos muy útiles para organizarnos y nos guardó las maletas durante un día. Su atención fue superior a la de cualquier otro alojamiento en el que estuvimos durante el viaje. Por otro lado, aunque el acceso al hotel es complicado, el barrio es increíble y la zona es preciosa, con unas vistas muy bonitas.
El principal inconveniente es el acceso al alojamiento. Está en una zona elevada y, aunque al principio piensas que no es para tanto, al final las subidas se hacen bastante pesadas, especialmente por la altura. Para salir a comprar cualquier cosa o simplemente volver al alojamiento acabas cansado. Además, supone un problema con los tours, ya que muchos no suben hasta allí a recogerte y tienes que desplazarte hasta otro punto. Es una pena porque la zona en sí merece muchísimo la pena, pero hay que tener en cuenta este aspecto antes de reservar.
Carlos fue muy atento, y estuvo a disposición para todas nuestras necesidades

Fue una experiencia muy linda en los días de estadía, donde nos atendieron muy bien, con calidez, respeto y paciencia. Agradecida con Carlos no tan solo nos recibio sino tambien nos ayudo y guio❤️🫂

O Carlos foi simplesmente perfeito , um anfitrião excepcional. Nos ajudou com as malas, com dicas e ainda guardou nossas malas após o checkout. As instalações são confortáveis e o único ponto de atenção é que são muitas escadas então para quem tem problema de locomoção seria difícil. Fora isso , a vista é espetacular , não temos o que reclamar dos nossos dias na instalação.
The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely (Queen with balcony), very spacious and the bed was comfortable with lots of warm blankets. The shower was nice and hot. The location is up the hill but so are a lot of things in Cusco, get used to it. Also it’s in a very cute neighbourhood and is close to the archaeological sites in Cusco.

The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful and the room was super nice!
It is stated in the description but the accomodation is very high up and quite far from the center. Combined with the altitude, if you are not used to it like us, it can be quite challenging going up there a couple of times a day…
Solo la cordialità dell'host
Non mi è piaciuto nulla.
Siamo scappati dopo la prima notte.
Per raggiungere la struttura devi fare tante scale ed è molto scomodo con le valigie.
La casa si trova su una strada chiusa e solo pedonale quindi o dall'alto o dal basso devi caricarti da solo le valigie.
Inoltre trovi tanti rifiuti e cani randagi che ti abbiano lungo il cammino, se sei a piedi come lo siamo stati noi.
Stanza mini. Bagno pure e poco puliti.
Cucina in condivisione molto sporca.
Terrazzo
Il terrazzo è da 10 la stanza è sufficiente.
L’hôtel est très bien situé, dans le quartier san blas ce qui offre un beau point de vu depuis le rooftop ! Merci pour la gentillesse de Carlos, il nous a soigneusement gardé nos affaires dès que nous avions besoin, il est très réactif et nous a toujours arrangé ! On se sent comme à la maison à Casa Mirador, les chambres et les espaces communs sont très agréables, on recommande à 100% !

Amazing! Gorgeous view of the city lights at night from my own balcony. And the host went above and beyond to be helpful.
The host Carlos was very approachable, he was also fluent in English which was very helpful. The room itself was comfortable but quite cold at night with no heaters; the bed itself was warm however and there were multiple quilts available. There was complimentary tea (including coca tea) provided in the lobby and there are common areas for guests to sit down and socialise, with a nice homely atmosphere. There is also a beautiful view of the Cusco skyline from the common area.
The showers were a bit inconsistent especially with hot water – water pressure was not the strongest, and sometimes the hot water would cut out halfway and take a few mins to return. Location was convenient – the main square was about 15 mins walk away – but there were a lot of stairs going up and down to the property, which might be difficult for those with mobility issues.
