Please note: LOCATION
We are in San Blas neighborhood, the main artisan and touristic place in Cusco, San Blas is a hill in the city, people use steps up and down, narrow streets around, as you can read in our comments and reviews. physical effort is needed(medium to high), specially to return to the accommodations.
Casa Mirador is located at the upper part of San Blas, the reason of the panoramic and great views of Cusco; from our accommodations to San Blas' church takes 4 minutes walking (steps down), the return takes longer due deepness and the steps up.
From San Blas' church to the main square of Cusco takes 7-9 minutes walking
The distance between the accommodations and the main square of Cusco is 800-2789 feet.
Taxis will not be able to get the guests to our main door, however we always send information suggesting where to get (there is taxi stop behind the accommodations from here you just walk 1 minute steps down to get to the main door) here to avoid the steps up on your first day, especially if you have luggage.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Pros:

The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Let us store our luggage for free and gave us access to the accommodation while we waited for our bus. Room was spacious and comfortable and the views of Cusco were great. Keep in mind the hostel is located up hill quite a ways so some physical capability to go down to the square everyday is needed but we enjoyed it.

Comfortable and Beauriful!
Pros:

The beauty of the neighborhood, and our little oasis in the guesthouse. Cusco can get chilly at night and we were perfectly warm and cozy. Juan Carlo is also a gem and helped with anything we needed. Can’t get a better value and stay. San Blas is a special area.

Cons:

Nothing to say negatively. Just pace yourself on day one and two up the stairs in the neighborhood.

Pros:

Fantastic view of Cusco! Host was very responsive.

Cons:

When we first arrived the bathroom smelled like mold. After notifying the host, he magically got the smell removed. So no issue after that.

We loved Casa Mirador
Pros:

Carlos was friendly and welcoming, even before we met in person. He gave good directions to the road behind to make it easier with my bags. The place was clean, tidied regularly with your permission and correspondence, and the facilities had temperate to hot water, which was welcome after a stay in the jungle with cold showers! We didn't use the communal kitchen, but it was rather accommodating. The hostel/hotel is located on the hillside overlooking the city, accessible only on foot, but the views did not disappoint. Really enjoyed our balcony sights, it made our stay, especially with the warm blankets provided. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Nothing! The place exceeded expectations, making the hard work walking the ancient steps worth it!

Amazing stay, highly recommended
Pros:

Everything! Carlos is a great host who will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We could leave our luggage for a few days, he gave us recommendations and even organized our airport transfer.
The view is stunning from the lobby area, the room was nice and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The location is great, very close to San Blas market where they have the best breakfast and smoothies!

Cons:

Nothing, only important to know that there are quite a lot of stairs to climb to get there from Plaza de Armas.
