We are in San Blas neighborhood, the main artisan and touristic place in Cusco, San Blas is a hill in the city, people use steps up and down, narrow streets around, as you can read in our comments and reviews. physical effort is needed(medium to high), specially to return to the accommodations.
Casa Mirador is located at the upper part of San Blas, the reason of the panoramic and great views of Cusco; from our accommodations to San Blas' church takes 4 minutes walking (steps down), the return takes longer due deepness and the steps up.
From San Blas' church to the main square of Cusco takes 7-9 minutes walking
The distance between the accommodations and the main square of Cusco is 800-2789 feet.
Taxis will not be able to get the guests to our main door, however we always send information suggesting where to get (there is taxi stop behind the accommodations from here you just walk 1 minute steps down to get to the main door) here to avoid the steps up on your first day, especially if you have luggage.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Overall, we highly recommend Casa Mirador for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, beautiful views and very helpful host.
Pros:

A lovely guesthouse in San Blas with incredible city views

We stayed at Casa Mirador for three nights before our four-day hike, left our luggage there while we were away, and then returned for another two nights afterwards. This worked out perfectly, and we really appreciated Carlos being happy to look after our luggage during the trek.

The guesthouse is spread over several levels, with a lovely little terrace at the top offering breathtaking views over Cusco. It’s a wonderful spot to sit down with a coffee and enjoy the city. Our room had an en-suite bathroom, and everything was quite clean, with a comfortable bed. It is absolutely quiet at night, and the neighborhood is very safe.

A practical point to be aware of is that the guesthouse is in San Blas, which means there are quite a few stairs to climb to get back. However, we really liked this neighbourhood. It has a lovely atmosphere, and you soon get used to the ups and downs. Its elevated location also makes it convenient for visiting some of the archaeological sites on the outskirts of the city.

Carlos, the host, was very responsive on WhatsApp and extremely helpful with information about Cusco, things to see and local services. His communication and flexibility made our stay very easy.

Cons:

There is only one room with a Queen-sized bed; all the other rooms have double beds. There are no twin-bed rooms.

推薦的旅行社很棒。房間舒適，房間本身沒風景，但公共空間的風景非常好！寄放行李也非常方便簡單，老闆一家就住在樓下，所以可以隨時提供支援照應。房間有可上鎖的置物櫃，地毯可以下床時不冰冷。有吹風機可以用。

Cons:

門要很小心關上。我已經很小心了但還是有一次沒關好……
廁所有螞蟻的路線但對我來說尚可以接受。

Pros:

La vue depuis Casa Mirador est génial, la chambre était très propre et il y avait de l’eau chaude dans la douche. Carlos s’est montré très disponible et nous a donné pleins de conseils et d’infos. Nous avons pu y laisser nos affaires pendant le trek.

Best mirador de Cusco dans quartier bohème.
Pros:

Carlos nous attendait dans la rue pour nous accueillir et nous aider avec les bagages ( on n’accède pas directement à l’appartement depuis la rue, d’où le calme!). Il nous avait prévenu à l’avance de la difficulté d’être en haut du joli quartier touristique de San Blas (nombreux escaliers) mais depuis le rooftop la vue est superbe et le centre ville très proche.
Nous avons apprécié la petite kitchenette (thé chaud à l’accueil et produits de première nécessité à disposition mais pas de réfrigérateur) et la bonne qualité du matelas et des couvertures chaudes et légères. La douche était chaude!!!

Cons:

Il manquait des crochets au mur de la salle de bain ou tablette pour les linges et trousses de toilette.
Une lampe de chevet dans une chambre non chauffée serait appréciable !

Pros:

Carlos went above and beyond to help us during our stay, always available on WhatsApp. We really appreciated him looking after our bags while we went on the Salkantay trek.
The view from the common area is unreal, got to be one of the best value places to stay for a good view. We also really liked San Blas in general.
Free colca tea is available to help acclimatise to the altitude.
Would highly recommend.

Cons:

The only downside to the location with it being out of the centre is we found that most tour companies wouldn't pick up even from Plaza San Blas, so we often had a 10 minute walk into town to meet any tours.

Pros:

Carlos ist sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit, egal um welche Fragen oder Anliegen es geht. Der Ausblick über Cusco, von dem Balkon oder auch der Dachterrasse ganz oben, ist wirklich unglaublich!
Und wenn man runter will ins Stadtzentrum und dann wieder rauf will - tut man was für die eigene Fitness. Es ist schon anstrengend, aber ohne Stress und mit dem eigenen Tempo und Pausen gut machbar.

Un des meilleurs accueil et vue de Cusco
Pros:

L’accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons pu laisser nos affaires pendant le trek . Eau chaude . Vue incroyable . Quartier calme

Cons:

Une chaussette usagée appartenant à d’anciens hôte retrouvé dans la chambre. Certain équipement dans la chambre auraient besoin d’être révisé. Pour les grandes personnes, la position assise est difficile sur les toilettes

Pros:

Die Aussicht vom Balkon war phänomenal.
Der Weg zur Unterkunft (die Treppen) sind wirklich anstrengend, vor allem mit Gepäck. Aber der Inhaber hatte uns sogar angeboten uns abzuholen. Später haben wir einfach unterwegs Pausen eingelegt und in einem der vielen Restaurants oder Cafés etwas gegessen oder getrunken. So war der Aufstieg ganz gut auszuhalten.

Cons:

Es war kalt! Es gibt keine Isolation, keine Heizung und die Dusche ist quasi ein Anbau, so dass die Temperaturen innen fast den Temperaturen draußen entsprachen. Darauf muss man sich einstellen. Wir haben uns dann ein Heizgerät geben lassen, was uns (gegen Entgelt) für einige Stunden etwas Wärme verschafft hat.

Increíble vista y lugar
Pros:

La vista es 100% vale la pena de subir unas escaleras. El lugar es hermosa y Carlos es tan amable. Nos ayudó bastante con logísticas no solo de cusco pero de todo nuestro viaje en el valle sagrado. Esperemos volver acá un día!

Un buen punto si deseas desconectar .
Pros:

Es un punto perfecto si deseas tener un buen panorama de la ciudad del cusco ya que se puede ver la ciudad desde lo alto del hotel. 🤗

Cons:

Necesitas un poco de esfuerzo físico para subir las escaleras y llegar al hotel , con la altura se te hace un poco difícil , y los taxis son pocos los que llegan hasta arriba.

El mejor anfitrión
Pros:

Sin duda, lo mejor del alojamiento fue Carlos, el dueño. Un 10/10. Fue increíblemente amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. Se implicó muchísimo en ayudarnos y en resolver todos los problemas que nos fueron surgiendo, haciendo que nuestra experiencia fuera mucho más fácil. Además, nos dio consejos muy útiles para organizarnos y nos guardó las maletas durante un día. Su atención fue superior a la de cualquier otro alojamiento en el que estuvimos durante el viaje. Por otro lado, aunque el acceso al hotel es complicado, el barrio es increíble y la zona es preciosa, con unas vistas muy bonitas.

Cons:

El principal inconveniente es el acceso al alojamiento. Está en una zona elevada y, aunque al principio piensas que no es para tanto, al final las subidas se hacen bastante pesadas, especialmente por la altura. Para salir a comprar cualquier cosa o simplemente volver al alojamiento acabas cansado. Además, supone un problema con los tours, ya que muchos no suben hasta allí a recogerte y tienes que desplazarte hasta otro punto. Es una pena porque la zona en sí merece muchísimo la pena, pero hay que tener en cuenta este aspecto antes de reservar.
