Siamo arrivati alle 21,45. Abbiamo dovuto suonare il campanello più volte prima di riuscire a farci aprire. Abbiamo chiesto di pagare subito perché dovevamo partire presto al mattino, ma ci hanno detto che sarebbe stato possibile pagare al mattino. Il mattino non c’era nessuno in grado di farci pagare ci hanno fatto fare tardi con il taxi e alla fine comunque non sono riusciti a far funzionare il pagamento con carta.

Cons:

Personale assolutamente incompetente, non parlano neanche una parola di inglese. Abbiamo chiesto dove parcheggiare, e non hanno saputo dircelo. Abbiamo chiesto della lavanderia, ci hanno detto che sarebbe stata pronta per le 9, alla fine ci hanno ridato la roba alle 19.

Cons:

El baño no tenia ventana y solo nos pusieron 1 toalla para dos. Cpgimos dos noches, una estuvimos fiera Y luego volvimos.
No limpiaron nada la habitación, no la asean diariamente. Las instalaciones estaban algo dejadas: mala ventilación, no funcionaban los dispensadores de gel y champu , el papel de la pared estaba despegado etc. creo que por el precio debe haber mejores opciones

O café da manhã com pouquíssima variedade e sem reposição dos itens básicos. Hotel muito, muito barulhento, quando não era o ruído vindo das ruas, eram gritos nos corredores ou um barulho muito forte vindo do piso de cima, por mais de uma hora, que, teoricamente era um "quarto" de serviço da administração do hotel.

Our absolute home away from home in Cusco, unforgettable hospitality!

We stayed at Casa Cavassa Boutique Hotel as a group, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this incredible place. From start to finish, Margaret, Alvaro, and the entire team treated us like family.

​First, the location is unbeatable. It is situated right in the heart of Cusco’s historical center, just a short, easy walk to the Plaza de Armas. Being so central made sightseeing completely effortless and took all the stress out of our early morning tour pick-ups.
​What truly sets Casa Cavassa apart, however, is the unbelievable care and genuine warmth of the hosts. Margaret and Alvaro went above and beyond to accommodate every single request we had. When a few members of our group struggled with altitude sickness, the team stepped in immediately to look after us, making sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and cared for.

​They even helped arrange a wonderful, relaxing hot stone Andean massage session for our whole group—right in the comfort and privacy of the hotel! It was the absolute best treat after long days of traveling.
​To top it all off, I celebrated my 40th birthday during our stay. Margaret and Alvaro went out of their way to make it extraordinary they waited up for me, greeted me with fireworks and a lovely birthday cake, and celebrated right alongside us. It felt so incredibly personal, thoughtful, and special.

​Casa Cavassa is more than just a place to sleep; it felt like our true home in Cusco. Thank you to the entire team for making my 40th birthday and our group trip so memorable. We will forever remember our Cusco home away from home!

Cons:

An extra set of keys for the apartment would be lovely. Other than that, nothing really. :-)

Precio accesible, servicios escasos

Está muy bien ubicado, a dos cuadras de la plaza principal

Cons:

1) Nos dijeron que el desayuno era de 7 a 9hs. Fuimos 7.45 y el desayuno no estaba preparado “porque la persona encargada no había ido”, por lo que tuvimos que desayunar apurados ya que teníamos un tour contratado, sumado a que el desayuno es muy poco variado 2) La segunda noche no tuvimos agua caliente. Si bien llamaron al personal encargado, el agua tarado más de 3hs en volver, por lo que me tuve que bañar con agua fría. 3) La habitación no es como en las fotos, tiene menos muebles de los que muestran y el baño no tiene mamparas de vidrio sino cortina de plástico.
