We stayed in a beautiful quiet room in San Agustin Plaza. Cusco is such an amazing city! The hotel was only 2 blocks from Plaza De Armaas which is arguably the most historic part of Cusco with lots of churches and monuments to see. There are also plenty of local nrestaruants nearby. The friendly staff there (Kelly and others) helped us arrange our tours to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. All the staff were very friendly. The rooms and rest of the hotel were all spotless. All in all, a great place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone going to Cusco, but the photos speak for themselves!
Very great experience! KELLY!!!!! She is the best and always very friendly and helpful. Kelly has such a kind heart and very attentive to making sure you have a comfortable and memorable time. Gracias Kelly! Un abrazo ❤️
I’m currently here with a tour not because I will choose this hotel. Staff as is all Peru super friendly and willing to assist you. Peruvian loves tourists. The problem with hotel is needs a facelift asap. Walkways carpets are dirty with stains in all floors. Rooms size are ok but furniture is from 20 plus years old. The breakfast buffet one of the worst not even a proper toaster they have the small panini maker that cuts bread in 4 small squares. No even orange juice buy papaya. Fríen chicken wings for breakfast????
We really enjoyed our stay at San Agustin Plaza in Cusco. We stayed a couple of nights before heading off to Machu Picchu, and it was a great base. When we first checked in, the room we got wasn’t the best, a bit untidy and not ideal for a couple but the reception staff were super friendly and quickly moved us to a much nicer room.
The staff were definitely a highlight. We had to leave at 4:10 in the morning for Machu Picchu, way before breakfast, and they made us a packed breakfast to take with us. Such a thoughtful touch!
The hotel feels cozy and welcoming, and the location is spot on, just a short walk to the main square, markets, and lots of restaurants. One thing to note is that rooms at the front can pick up some street noise. We’re used to city noise so it didn’t bother us much, but it might be something to keep in mind.
Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with genuinely kind staff, and we’d happily stay here again.

The hotel is located in excellent location. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. The hotel is super clean all the staff members are professional, kind and attentive. The food is delicious the menu includes a variety of selections. All around the experience was excellent. I would return to this hotel.
We came to Cuzco on a tour with a group of people and some of us got altitude sickness and were pretty sick.
When you come to a hotel you expect location, cleanliness and service. And we had all of that and more.
I was very sick and the staff were wonderful and helpful. Specially Nhay Ruth she went an extra mile to make sure I was feeling well.
Like I said the service, location and cleanliness is what you look forward and we had that and more. And is not that expensive 😌
Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. Breakfast buffet was opened from 4:30 am which was very helpful for tourists leaving for early excursions.
Centrally located hotel which is in the list of many tour operators so pick up and drop off was convenient.
When we arrived at the Saint Augustine, Hotel Plaza, the staff had prepared for me a chocolate cake slice to celebrate my birthday. I really appreciate their attention, especially from Ruth and Magio. We were very professional, friendly and helpful.
Muy lindo. Buen desayuno. Y muy limpio, cerca de todo
The hotel is very nice. Lots of little things nearby, it is perfect location.
Everything was smooth. People very kind. We will recommend.
Staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet was full of different items and abundant. We loved the different local fruit juices.
Lodging was not fancy, but comfortable and clean. They don’t have heating, but provide portable units for the rooms.
Also they always have different local teas available all the time at the lobby.
Very nice and clean place but a little far from the main plaza where all the shopping is. The free breakfast is a bit limited but good.
Terrible hotel. Walls are paper thin, fridge does not work and breakfast is average at best.
To make matters worse they have no over charged my credit card by $250 for the reservation and are refusing to refund the difference for over a week. I have been standing in reception for over an hour trying to resolve this but I am being told it’s not possible to refund or cancel a credit card transaction. Beware before booking and if you do then please make sure you check your credit card.
Breakfast was great, the room was good and clean. There is no air conditioning because temperature in Cusco is cold, so really was not necessary. The staff was great and was a good location.
It was a nice stay. Comfortable. The room was a bit simple compared to the photos and what I expected. But the buffet in the morning made up for it.
It's very adequate. Absolutely nothing stand out about it. Rooms are very simply furnished but comfortable. The room does retain heat well so can get warm at night and depending on whether your room faces the front you may or may not want to keep a window open.
I don't usually write reviews but I had a lot of time on my hands during the nights as you will see below. This is a tale of two halves. Lovely looking little hotel with a lovely foyer/main area. Nice staff. Few speak much English but no real problem. The hotel is in the perfect location directly opposite Santo Domingo Convent and a pleasant walk from St Armas Square. Price was reasonable.
It is an early morning hotel. Taxis and pick up buses tooting from 4 am. However... I didnt sleep AT ALL for 3 days due to the heat in the room.
NO AIR CON! Had to open the windows wide but the noise was awful. Can forgive all the rest below, but for us, the lack of air con spoiled our 3 days. Trekking on no sleep at all! We had a constant headache due to lack of sleep. Disappointing. The breakfast was the worst I've ever had. Shocking. Everything laid out at 3.45 am ( I know because I was awake!) The juice, milk, fruit were all unpleasant and the hot food was equally unpleasant. Tried to stick with toast on day 2 but the toasting gridle pan had not been cleaned for a while and had a horrid smell. The bread was brick hard and not even toasting could revive it. Scrambled eggs were nice at 3.45 but stone cold any other time. They are clearly trying to cater for those who are leaving early to climb Machu Picchu etc but on our final day we were the only ones there between 4 - 6am. Only there because it was cooler than our room! A tray of fried eggs was laid out at 3.45 and not touched until j
Good value for money.
