Hotel & Mirador Los Apus

Great location in San Blas but only a small hill to climb. The room was quiet and centrally-heated, a luxury in Cusco. The windows were double-glazed too adding to the comfort. Breakfast was good too with choices of different fruits every day.
Staff, particularly the woman at reception, were incredible friendly and helpful. They help me book a taxi to the airport for 20 soles which was a very good price. There is a nice terrace on top, although the area is partly used for making breakfast (served downstairs) and it was a little messy, but views were very nice.
Pro tip: at least in my room there was a very clever clothes line above the bathtub. On one side there was a little box that held a retractable line that could be connnected on the other side (where the taps were). It was great to dry a couple of delicates I hand-washed!

Ubicación muy buena, muy cerca de la Plaza de Armas y de San Blas, con multitud de restaurantes, cafeterías y tiendas alrededor. Aunque la calle es peatonal y en cuesta, no fue un problema para nosotros. Destacamos especialmente la atención del personal, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Nos prepararon un lunch box con agua para las excursiones que empezaban de madrugada y tuvieron en cuenta nuestras peticiones. Además, nos ayudaron a resolver un problema durante nuestra estancia y estuvieron pendientes en todo momento. Un servicio excelente que hizo nuestra experiencia aún mejor.

We really loved the location, as the hotel is just a one-minute walk from the center of Cusco. We also appreciated having tea available 24/7.

The best surprise, though, was the breakfast service. Since many of our activities started very early in the morning, the hotel prepared breakfast boxes for us to take along. This was incredibly thoughtful and convenient, and made our early starts much easier.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location was good, quiet area and only a few blocks from the plaza mayor del Cusco. It is going uphill a bit and to reach the front door you have to cling a few steps up (with a suitcase 😮). Rocío, at reception was very kind, friendly and professional. Always ready to help. We requested a different room because ours was on the first level and had two beds, little natural light. She changed us to a matrimonial room with a small balcony. They were doing repairs to the outside walls and there were scafoldings, but by mow they may be finished. Breakfast was very good and eggs made to order.
There is a “mirador” little space in the 4th floor, small but nice. Also a couple of tables for a restaurant, but they told us that it opened at 7pm. We never saw anything being served or cooking there.

Dit is een zeer goed hotel! Het personeel levert een uitstekende service en is zeer vriendelijk, ze helpen je waar ze kunnen. We mochten iets in de frigo bewaren en de volgende dag warmden ze het voor ons op. We mochten onze bagage laten staan toen we een dag naar Machu Picchu waren, nadien stond ze al klaar voor ons in de nieuwe kamer. Goede warme douche. Goede wifi. Verwarming in de kamer. Ze regelden een taxi voor ons. We kregen een ontbijtbox als we voor 6u weg moesten. Alles was super! Echt aan te raden dit hotel.
