Felt super comfortable and taken care of
Pros:

The property is well located near the center and other viewpoints. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Nothing fancy but you have everything you need. The staff are fantastic always asking if we needed anything and were able to leave our luggage for 3 days as we went to Machu Pichu. Prepared take away breakfasts for our early excursions and had tea with coca leave available for us when we arrived and anytime we wanted it. 10/10 would stay again.

Cons:

There was one day the hot water wasn’t super warm for the shower but that was it. Everything else great.

Had to check out early, no outside windows, noise issues
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

The hotel room they initially gave us was honestly shocking — it had no window to the outside at all. The only tiny window in the room opened directly above the reception area, meaning you could hear every conversation and noise coming from downstairs. It also did not feel like there was proper ventilation or enough fresh air entering the room, which made the space feel extremely uncomfortable and claustrophobic.

When I asked to change rooms, the staff did help with the request. However, the second room they gave us was only about two meters from the reception and dining area. Although this room at least had a window to the outside, I was concerned about noise. The lady at reception assured me that the door was soundproof, so we agreed to stay there.

Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true. There was a lot of noise coming from the dining area, and because the building is old, we could also hear footsteps from the room above us very clearly.

We woke up at 2am for our tour and discovered there was no hot water. After speaking to reception, they told us to wait a few minutes while they warmed the water up. It took some time before the water became warm, and thankfully we had woken up earlier just in case.

On top of that, we specifically requested that our breakfast box should not contain ham because we do not eat pork. They said this would not be a problem, but when we opened the sandwiches, they still contained ham, so the food went to waste. It was disappointing that even such a simple request was ignored.

Overall, although the atmosphere may seem authentic, the building feels very old, the bathrooms are outdated, and the overall experience was not pleasant for us.

We had booked the hotel for three days but decided to leave after only one night and move to another hotel. When we informed the staff that we were checking out early, nobody seemed interested in understanding the issues or asking how they could improve.

Fantastic experience in Cusco
Pros:

Our stay here was wonderful, the staff were all excellent - friendly, kind, and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and even the to go boxes for early morning tours were excellent. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and very spacious. Most importantly, it was very quiet (unlike other places we stayed in Cusco) so we were able to sleep extremely well here! The shower gets hot quickly and has great water pressure - the toiletries provided were a fantastic bonus as well. We also loved the terrace upstairs. There are so many good things I could say about this hotel - thank you to everyone at Los Apus!

Cons:

Everything was great

Comfy, Quiet & Convenient
Pros:

Friendly staff who were always willing to answer questions annd provide us with information. Along with being clean, the room was VERY quiet which, along with the comfy bed, allowed us to sleep well. The hotel was conveniently located in the lovely San Blas area and just a six minute walk from Plaza des Armes. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. We appreciated the wide range of time for breakfast (6am - 10am), allowing us to either get an early start on the day or, conversely, to sleep in.

Cons:

The shower head delivered a very minimal water stream,
