We were given a completely different room to the one we had booked which was frustrating when we arrived late and tired after 4-day trek and heard that the one we booked was taken. The room had no big windows with views which was the reason we had chosen the place, but instead it was quite dark, even during the day
Mostly the kindness of the host makes the difference of the little imperfections of the place
sometime at nights not hot shower, peoples talk on stairs at late night, cold room but glad a lot of blankets and small warmer make it great in bed
Carmen (the only staff we ever saw) was incredibly helpful, from suggestions on where to catch a collectivo to Pisac to helping one of our party during a “tummy trouble” day. She seems to be cook, cleaner and general MD and we became very fond of her during our 3-night stay. Great location in San Blas. The dining area is out of this world overlooking the city below and surrounding mountains. Sometimes we’d go up there after breakfast to to enjoy the view.
Amazing little find in san blas, Cusco. We enjoyed the views across the city, the tasty breakfast and most of all the hosts. They were super friendly and accommodating. We had a small kitchenette which was easy to use and incredibly useful.
The shower was a little tricky to use
Lovely breakfast with fresh juice, fruit and eggs. Very accommodating and friendly host!
Location was difficult to find, could have better sign writing, if you’re travellers like us and have big suitcases be prepared to carry them up many stairs. Shower was a bit difficult to use, a good to know also is that you must pay with cash, there is an ATM nearby.
Close to the square. Bedding are clean .
No sign of the House, we walk up and down stairs with our luggages to find the place . Facilities are old , too rustic need to repair . No boiled water for shower during our stay . Towels are old . No 24 hours front desk , no one will help if you got any emergency.
Breakfast was delicious with a great view
It's all been great
Location
The shower!
Location was great
The hot water often doesn't work. Room was cold there was no heating.
Great location just 5 minutes walking from the main square and very close to many good restaurants, the host was one of the kindest person I've met, breathtaking view from the room
It's located in a small street and to reach the structure there are some stairs to do that can be a bit uncomfortable for people with heavy luggages
Location was very good and close to restaurants and site seeing. I could easily walk from the hotel.
It would be nice if they had a sign for the hotel. There was just a non-descript door. We walked past that a few times trying to find the hotel.
The view over the city, the wifi, the staff were amazing - confirmed our arrival time, made us coca leaf tea when she could see we were clearly exhausted from travelling. The room was pleasant and the bed was comfy.
There was mold in the bathroom, the hot water didn't work, it was really cold in the morning and at night (particularly if you took breakfast on the open top roof terrace). It is not easy to get to (particularly if you are suffering from altitude sickness) - it is up a flight of stairs and then when you get into the property there are more winding stairs to go up. It's just something to be aware of.
