Pros:

Carmen, la que lleva la entrada, los desayunos, y la gestión del apartamento, es un auténtico primor. Nos ayudó en todo. Además, la localización del apartamento es muy conveniente.

Cons:

Quizá no es el apartamento más novedoso o fancy del mundo, pero por el precio que vale, definitivamente merece la pena.

A pleasant home base for a week in Cusco.
Pros:

The location was great. It was close to sights and restaurants but tucked away from the traffic and honking. The room was nice and comfortable. It was cool how there was a tree growing through the bathroom. The shower was tall enough for a 6'1" man to not have to stoop, and the water was hot. They were also patient when it took some time to acquire cash to pay with (be sure to plan for this, as it can be difficult for foreigners to find somewhere to get cash without outrageous fees).

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a host available at least during the day. It might not bother other people, but there were stray cats hanging around on the property. They were sometimes noisy and they made the common outdoor area smell like cat urine.

Man muss jung und stark sein, um das unbeschadet zu überleben.
Pros:

Carmen, die Betreiberin der Unterkunft, war sehr freundlich und gab gute Auskunft.

Cons:

vom Straßenniveau bis zum Zimmer waren 77 Stufen zu überwinden - und das bei fehlender Luft. Frühstück bei 2° ist auch nicht angenehm.

Super angenehme und schöne Wohnung in toller Lage. Nur im peruanischen Winter ein bisschen zu kalt..
Pros:

Die Lage ist wirklich super. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Ein Highlight war die Aussicht beim Frühstück auf dem Balkon! Die Hosts sind super nett und es gab die Möglichkeit, unser Gepäck unterzustellen während wir einen mehrtägigen Trek gemacht haben.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind leider nicht geheizt, was insbesondere im Winter (wir waren im Juni da) dazu führt, dass es sehr kalt wird - wir haben zwar eine kleine portable Heizung bekommen von Carmen, welche aber leider den Raum nicht aufgeheizt hat. Auch die Dusche wird nicht wirklich warm sondern bleibt eher lauwarm.

A fantastic, highly convenient, and budget-friendly stay with exceptional hospitality.
Pros:

Amazing, convenient location surrounded by great boutique stores and excellent dining options (Italian, sushi, and Thai). It's incredibly budget-friendly, the owners are highly responsive, and Carmen was wonderful and helpful. Having a laundry service just a flight of stairs away was super convenient, and the place was always beautifully tidied up when we returned.

Pleasant and comfortable
Pros:

Case de Mama’s Treehouse was quaint, although a little outdated and in need of some TLC.
The twin room we had was spacious with comfortable beds, clean linen and had a small kitchen area that we did not use.
The bathroom was clean, but the shower did not seem to have much hot water if any at all.
While we were there the toilet broke but this was fixed the following day after messaging, so that was really good.
Carmen obviously puts her heart and soul into her accommodation and this is commendable.
The location was ideal. Not far from Plaza de Armas in the centre of Cusco, and Saksaywaman.
Be prepared for lots of steps in Cusco generally

Cons:

Cold showers and state of general upkeep.

Cute economy option in San Blas
Pros:

For the price this is a good economy option. Carmen is very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast room has incredible 360-degree views. The bed was comfortable. Excellent location with easy walk to the centro, exploring San Blas, or a hike up to Saqsaywaman.

Cons:

It gets very cold at night and there’s no heat. The shower was very difficult to work with and usually got too hot and then quickly cold again. Only one time could I get it warm and to stay that way. Also the glass above the shower is cracked and I found some on the floor when I got there.

Cons:

En general correcto todo. Nos tocó la primer habitacion de abajo. Demasiado chica y el baño tambien. Y es muy fría, deci que tienen muchas frazadas y al dormir no pasas frío. Y tiene una estufita eléctrica a vela que imposible dormir con eso porque alumbra muchísimo. Y si no quieren subir escaleras no se lo recomiendo jaja. El resto de las cosas bien.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, um Cusco zu Fuss zu erkunden. Die Besitzerin gibt sich wirklich Mühe, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber lecker. Es gab immer frischen Smoothie. Der Blick vom Frühstücksraum ist wirklich schön. Es gibt kostenlos Wasser.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Familienzimmer gebucht, sollten aber erst in einem Raum mit nur einem Bett untergebracht werden. Erst auf Nachfrage haben wir ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten bekommen. Es gibt keine Heizung im Zimmer, obwohl es als Einrichtung aufgeführt ist. So hat man morgens gern mal 5-7 Grad im Zimmer.
