Sehr schöne Lage und Ausstattung! Gemütlich, ruhige Lage, schöne Plätze zum Verweilen und sehr gutes Frühstück! Die Zimmer waren top ausgestattet und sehr sauber.
Amazing views of Cusco. Lovely location. Beautiful historic property and nice characterful rooms. Delicious breakfast and super attentive helpful staff!
It has character. All the chain hotels look the same, very sterile and antiseptic. This hotel has a personality that I really enjoyed. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and a special thanks to the restaurant staff who, despite my terrible Spanish, were able to make sense of my special requests and provided me with excellent meals.
A little more room at the curb outside would be nice, but this cannot be helped. Inside was lovely.
Location was close to all. Vibe is perfect for Cusco. So cozy. Small and authentic. Incan walls. Beds are cozy.
Breakfast was delicious. Staff was helpful.
Rooms are small and double beds only, not queens.
The room itself was gorgeous! And tastefully decorated. The one they put me in had a view of Cusco & the mountains. The property itself feels like a hidden gem. The bed was comfortable. They offered robes, filtered water in the room and coco tea in the dining room. Also a heater as it got cold at night.
When I went to shower before bed THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. It was lukewarm at best. After a long day of travel and exploring the only thing I wanted was a hot shower and to tuck into bed. I called down to the front desk, but the lady from the daytime wasn't there, only a man who didn't speak any english. I was able to communicate the issue in my limited spanish and he came up to the room to take a look. It was hard to understand what he was telling me to do, but I guess he reset the heater and told me to wait 15mins then try again. I did that, at which point the water was hotter but not hot. I was able to shower quickly, but it wasn't pleasant. And I was tired from waiting. This is why I took points off. Hot water is a necessity. Especially when it's cold out. Also, something I ate at breakfast didn't agree with me. I used the filtered water to brush my teeth and hadn't eaten anything else that day when the problems started. I don't know if they use filtered or regular water in the coffee or juices they serve? I had both. Or maybe they don't wash their fruits/vegetables with filtered water and that's what did it. But just to watch out for.
Great location with very helpful staff. Very good breakfast as well. Highly recommended!
Book the cheaper rooms. They have darker curtains and you will hear less street noises. Suite was great but more noisy and you wake up earlier due to the white curtains.
Outstanding hotel. Clean and comfortable. Lovely gardens and views of the city. Close to the plaza. Hot showers. Sweet dining area, set up for easy hanging space to read, play games, write and do phone business.
Nothing. This is a fantastic deal, wonderful hotel.
Everything…the staff, the room, breakfast…everything was perfect. One very small suggestion…vary the fruit at breakfast, some mango and banana would be great.
Nothing.
Nice courtyard and nice views if your room has a balcony.
Pancakes were freshly made.
By 9am there was very little breakfast food remaining and NO coffee, staff did not offer to provide more.
Room 1 (family room) was facing the road and extremely noisy. Heavy traffic from 530am until 11pm at night.
Staff were not friendly and I asked two different staff members to investigate cocoa leaf reading (Maria and Francisca) and nobody responded to me.
Fantastic service from Juanita and excellent food from Juanita. Thanks to both of you - you made our stay so nice, and we would like to come back
Good location near the city square.
They packed us a sandwich and fruit to go when we were checking out early for our Inca trail tour which was a nice touch (just tell them the night before).
Situated on a cobble stone one-way; a couple of rooms are close to the road and you can hear the cars go down all night. It sounds like a gush of wind every time - ear plugs Is a must
restaurant was erg goed, alles huisgemaakt, zalige brownie, ook de lunchbox is een aanrader
fijne plek ook om even te zitten
The house, the filtered water, the early breakfast, the service.
Everything was fine.
Breakfast was amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is cute, with rustic vibes, but clean and comfortable. There is a garden in the patio, in front of the rooms and the restaurant that is just perfect. The view from the porch to the garden is also amazing. You can see the top of the buildings from Plaza de Armas from there. Location is also convenient, two blocks away from the town.
