I have stayed at this hotel. We got off on a bad start as they did not have my reservation. It took a few calls before they decided to give me the queen bed I booked and paid for. I did not get any perks and they honestly did not even acknowledge Hotel.com. I will not book this hotel again and I hope Hotels.com will take a look at this hotel to make sure they are following Hotels.com policies and perks.
No help from the staff, no lights on the hallway (dark to walking), no fan in the restroom, no windows for outside. They give us 2 single beds instead of king size bed ( my husband and I have to sleep separate, we don’t like it) room was cold, only small portable heater was provided. Buffet breakfast was not good, very little food almost nothing.
Not happy with our stay
We had a great time because the hotel was centrally located so we could walk to the New Years celebrations! Awesome hotel for walking
Great location. Basic room with large bathroom and good WiFi
Amazing location
It is close to everything
The staff were excellent. We arrived at 730am even though our check in was at 1030. They let us in right away since we didn’t sleep all night from our flights. Great and friendly staff that is a clock from the city center!
Very central location
You get what you pay for. The hotel has water heater and water supply issues. I have no water in the room and they basically said I am on my own so I guess I will not shower tonight. Avoid the headache if you can afford it.
Very loud. Extremely cold room, heater didn’t work, no extra blankets or pillows available. No elevator. Light fixture had shattered and bulb was flickering dangerously. No shampoo or soap. Desk staff not very helpful. Nobody was available when we wanted to check out at 6:15 am, the main door was locked and gated, so we had to let ourselves out of a side door with an unlocked dead bolt hanging off it and hoped for the best. The only positive thing this place was the location. Hotels.com might want to reconsider including this in its listings.
Very good stay. Staff most helpful , especially Miss. Griselda. She is simply wonderful. Breakfast limited and same from one day to the next, but adequate.
I do not recommend this place at all.
1. Bad security for foreigners or locals
I had a package and disappeared from my room no one get the responsable of this and they did not have cameras working in the hotel to verify this or resolve the situation I did not see any effort or worry from the hotel: I do not feel comfortable with the situation because could be another document more important as my passport or wallet (I would not like this to happen to another foreigner).
2. Few breakfast options
The options to choose what to have for breakfast are few and there is no variety.
3. Cold rooms
Cusco it is very cold place more at night and early in the morning and my room had only one blanket, the heating did not work so I had to use my poncho and more clothes to do not get frozen.
4. The shower has no door
To taking a shower as the shower there was no door the whole bathroom was flooded and even the water came out into the room: not contable at all.
We encountered a problem getting to Machu Picchu. The staff provided us excellent service when we were time crunched. Thank you!
I arrived at the train station and took the local transportation to the hotel. It is located just around the corner from the main square. Good central location. Easy to walk to many local restaurant and tourist sights.
Be careful of the altitude. I drink plenty of gatorade, ate bananas and ate peanuts.
The local leaves of the cocoa are good to make tea.
The room was on the second floor with a private bath. The heat was provided by a room heater. If I opened the windows, the chill of outside would overcome the heater.
Please room.
Good breakfast in the morning.
Horrible Hotel it is clean but the stuff is very rude when you ask them to take your luggage to your room. The rooms are clean but the towels smell very bad and my room did not have any hot water. Not recommended. Breakfast was very lateeven when they tell you that they served it at 6 am they served the breakfast when they want 30 min later.
Overall very nice. I would come back for another stay.
