Horrible experience—zero compassion for severe altitude sickness. Avoid at all costs!
This was the absolute worst hotel experience of our entire 20-day honeymoon. Cusco is a high-altitude city (3,300 meters), and my wife and I arrived around 12:00 PM suffering from severe altitude sickness. We immediately informed the front desk and begged to check in early to rest and access oxygen, which the hotel claims to provide. They bluntly refused. While forced to wait in the outdoor area, our symptoms worsened drastically. We experienced breathing difficulties, excruciating headaches, and even developed severe rashes. Only after seeing us in visible medical distress did they finally let us into a room between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM.The room itself felt completely suffocating and lacked proper oxygenation. When we begged for an oxygen bottle to breathe, they charged us an extra $20 USD. Facing a medical emergency, we had no choice but to pay.
After 4 to 5 hours of sheer agony, we realized our bodies could not cope, and we had to check out immediately to fly out of Cusco for our own safety. From the moment we checked in, we repeatedly asked to cancel the remainder of our 3-day, 2-night stay. The hotel management was incredibly cold and utterly heartless. They refused to refund a single penny, completely shifting the blame to Booking.com, claiming the platform didn't allow it.The staff and management showed zero empathy, zero care, and zero human decency toward guests experiencing a severe health crisis. They forced us to pay the full price for two nights despite us only staying for a few hours. This hotel does not care about the safety or lives of its guests. If you value your health, do not stay here.
Museum Hotel, an subtle touch between History and comfort
We loved everything

Great location in Cusco (historical center). We booked one of their suites with a balcony for a family of three and it met all of our expectations in terms of comfort.
A/C system in the room was a bit hard to understand.
Ubicación y camas.
Solicité traslado desde el aeropuerto al hotel y no llegaba.
Todos los días que me quedé sentí un ruido constante en la habitación.
Breakfast was really good! Also my flight was super delayed so I had to kill a few hours in the lobby, and all the staff were super nice about it! Location was super convenient too. Very in the center of everything but still off to the side enough that it was quiet.
Todo
En general todo muy bien reforzaría la amabilidad en el restaurante unos días fue muy buena pero otras no tanto y lo notamos con el cambio de personal el día domingo
The location, hotel and staff were all fantastic.
Excellent spacious rooms and amazing bathrooms.
If you like to stay in a old time classic deco with very comfortable bed and top service this is it. Easy walk to the central square and many nice food options around.
Everything was great for the two nights we stayed.
Si, aunque me esperaba más de este cinco estrellas
La decoración era un poco hortera. Es como si hubiesen saqueado varios conventos
