House refurbished as a hotel
Pros:

I booked this hotel because it was near to the airport, BIG MISTAKE!
The hotel doesn't accept credit card, only cash.
Their fare is un usd, but they doesn't accept one dollar bills. ¿?
The furniture is old and the rooms are uncomfortable.

Good breakfast and comfortable bed
Pros:

The breakfast was good (coffre, homemade orange juice, bread and egg) and the bed very comfortable (with a lot of blankets, because it was cold in June).

Good value B&B-style Hotel Outside City Center
Pros:

We stayed at In Casita for 5 nights during our Cusco visit. The hotel is a home in a residential neighborhood converted to a small hotel, giving it a very Bed and Breakfast-style feel. After booking, the hotel Emailed us offering to have a taxi pick us up at the airport. The rooms are small, but there is also a community room with a TV and DVDs, and a pleasant rooftop patio. Our room could have been cleaner, but it was not bad. The hotel is not particularly quiet; Outdoor noise can be heard: honking horns from Avenida de Cultura and neighborhood dogs barking. However, we adjusted to these city sounds and slept fairly well. Taxis are required (5 - 6 Soles) to get to Plaza de Armas.

The staff at In Casita is the best part of this hotel! They speak little English, but were patient with us. Our flight into Cusco was very early (6:20 am), putting us at the hotel just before 7:00 am. When we arrived, we were offered Coca tea, but we were so tired after a long day of travel that we just wanted to sleep. Our room was available and they allowed us to go to our room and sleep without officially checking in. They called cabs for us several times, negotiating a fair rate for us. At the end of our trip, they also allowed us to keep our room until our departure time of 3:00 pm.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 - 9:00 am, with the hostess cooking eggs to order. Fresh bread and jelly, coffee, tea, and fresh juice are also provided. It feels like you're sitting down to a family breakfast.

Quaint, friendly hotel-hostel
Pros:

In Casita is close to the airport - about a 15 minute taxi ride. It is located less than a block from Ave Cultura which is the main street leading into and out of Cusco. On Ave Cultura there are many shops where you can buy food and other necessities. In Casita is about a one hour walk to the center of Cusco. In Casita is small and is a hybrid between a hotel and a hostel. It is more like the bed and breakfast version of a hostel.

Not the best location but nice place
Pros:

This place is hard to find since the address leads you (and taxi drivers) to look on the wrong street. You will find it on the little side street near the MEGA supermarket. Make sure you bring a map to show the driver where this place is. Otherwise a nice cheap place with free airport transfer.

Quiet neighborhood.
Pros:

Location a little far from Plaza de Armas, but easily accesible by taxi. The hotel is located in a small, quiet neighborhood, so if you want to have a peaceful night's sleep, this is the place to be. Staff is helpful and friendly. They arranged a tour to Valle Sagrado and free pick up taxi from the airport. There was plenty of hot water at all times (I visited Cusco in the month of August when it´s cold in the morning.)

Great Place....really liked it
Pros:

I really enjoyed this bed and breakfast style of hotel. Its located in a small neighborhood but its very easy to get to downtown Cusco by taxi for like 2 dollars. I stayed for 4 days and just used the place to shower and sleep. Te room was pleasing and it was cleaned on a daily basis. The staff is very helpful as they helped me book my Machu Picchu tours and Sacred Valley as well. If you call them in advance they can pick you up at the airport. Do not use the airport taxi as they overcharge an abusive amount! Just take a city taxi outside the Cusco airport.

Bug spray before bed
Pros:

This hotel was dirty. The lobby is fine, but our room had a filthy carpet and bedspreads with spots of whatever....gross. Nobody slept well. My husband and I actually sprayed ourselves and perimeter of the beds with bug repellant. He opted to sleep in his clothes with his hoodie up and I pulled the spotted, sticky, and stained quilt off the bed and tucked my pj bottoms into my socks. We used the place for a place to "sleep" between a late arrival and early departure. Would not go to this place ever again. And, no breakfast. Lastly, there was a pack of dogs fighting and barking outside for quite awhile. The only good feature was the very nice receptionist who arranged our cabs in and out. She should find a better place to work.

Good quality/price hotel
Pros:

The hotel is a bit far away from Cusco center (a good 30 min walk), but it is clean, quiet, the owners are very helpful, the breakfast was good, the wireless internet is excellent. For the low price we paid we were very satisfied with this hotel.

more your money's worth
Pros:

Wonderful hostess and a nice place. A light breakfast and transfer to the airport was included. I don't know how she does it at the prices she charges. Located in a less touristy part of town there is not as much to see within walking distance but taxis are inexpensive and plentiful in Cusco and there will be fewer of those steep roads and stairs to climb that way (which is a relief at this high altitude) plus there is a supermarket very close. We stayed here on the way back from Machu Picchu and I would again.
