Ok for a night
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good

Cons:

It was quite noisy as the marble flooring in the communal area made all sounds echo into the bedroom
Not much around the hotel as on the outskirts of Cuzco

Unfortunately, our experience with Velvet Residence Cusco Hotel was disappointing, especially because of what happened after our stay.

We accidentally left our AirPods in the room when we checked out. We contacted the hotel on the very same day and informed them about the missing AirPods. We were told that they had not been found.

However, the AirPods are connected to my Apple account and I can track them through Find My. They have continued to appear at a location after we left the hotel, and I can also see that they are being actively used.

For us, this is extremely concerning. We contacted the hotel immediately and expected them to take the situation seriously and investigate what happened. Unfortunately, the response we received was simply that the AirPods had not been found.

We understand that belongings can sometimes be accidentally left behind, but when a device can still be tracked and is clearly being used after the guest has reported it missing, we believe the hotel should make every reasonable effort to investigate.

This experience has seriously affected our trust in the hotel, and we would advise guests to be particularly careful with their personal belongings.

Good value for money but noisy
Pros:

It was clean, the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Eggs were made to order at breakfast

Cons:

It was quite noisy as the hallways were open and echoing. Also not enough towels in the room just one bath towel.

All good
Pros:

We stayed there one night as it was close to the train station to Aguas Calientes where we had an early morning train from. Shower was hot with good pressure. The room was very quiet and they prepared us take away breakfast at 4:30 am. Location is noce too, quite area, we walked a few minutes to where restaurants are.
