Pros:

The place is clean and cozy. All staff are super nice and accommodating. Breakfast is good. They even packed it ready to go for our very early 4am pick up for inca trek. They stored our luggage safely while on a trek and we stayed here again after The walk to the main plaza is not bad and love that this is only a few blocks from the San Blas market where we bought a variety of fresh fruits. I highly recommend the El Mariscal hotel!

Nice stay at El Mariscal
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast included only two choices: eggs or pancakes. It would definitely be better to have more variety. Although there is a breakfast room on the hotel's fourth floor, it only serves as a seating area; the food is brought up from the kitchen on the main floor. By the time it is served, the food is already lukewarm, and the same applies to the hot water for tea and coffee.

Carino, ma un po’ rumoroso
Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel 2 volte; offrono la possibilità di lasciare gratuitamente le valigie anche per più di giorni se si fanno escursioni più lunghe. Più o meno tutto lo staff parla inglese.
La struttura si trova a circa 13 min a piedi dal centro, ma è fattibile. La struttura è carina e pulita, ma potrebbe essere un poco più curata.

Cons:

La colazione è un po’ monotona; la servono in camera e danno quasi sempre omelette. Ci hanno assegnato la stanza all’ingresso della reception; non è insonorizzata e ed essendo affacciata all’ingresso dell’area comune dalle 4 è impossibile dormire. L’unica finestra da sull’area comune e quindi c’è poca privacy.

Carino ma rumoroso
Pros:

L’hotel si trova a circa 13 minuti a piedi. Abbiamo soggiornato due volte, lasciando le valigie gratuitamente quando siamo andati via 2 giorni.
Offrono la possibilità della breakfast box, purtroppo un po scarsa con barrette confezionate. La colazione viene servita in camera o nella stanza dell’ultimo piano, abbondante ma un po’ monotona.

Cons:

Quando siamo arrivati c’era in corso un black out e quindi siamo stati circa 3 ore senza acqua e luce.
Ci hanno assegnato una stanza al piano terra con affaccio (non ci sono finestre) sull’area comune; era molto umida e non c’era ricircolo. Inoltre è rumorosa poiché non è insonorizzata; credo convenga farsene assegnare una ai piani alti.

Pros:

Fantastic place. Very helpful staff, they stored our luggage when doing the Salkantay Trek, and even took our laundry to the laundry shop when we were in a tour and short on time.
The room is clean with a warm shower.
