Second stay following Inca trail hike. Again, amazing staff and very comfortable rooms. The perfect place to relax and unwind! Close to the city - very walkable.

Cosy environment with a nice seating area and courtyard lobby as well the upper floor breakfast room. Nice breakfast served to order so it was fresh although there could have been more fruit for my liking. The staff were also very friendly and gave helpful recommendations we really appreciated.
It was a bit difficult to locate by taxi but it wasn't a big issue. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit noisy (not from the outside but inside) because sound carries and we were on the third floor so you could hear people talking and walking, doors closing, etc. WiFi was weak during our stay.

Hotel El Mariscal Cusco is a excellent 3-star choice in Cusco. It offers great value with consistently strong feedback across all the rating platforms I visited prior to booking. The property is located in the quiet neighborhood of San Blas, just a 10-15 minute walk from Plaza de Armas. Peaceful yet close to restaurants and shops. The hotel is setup with an open concept on the inside with a large atrium. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable beds and good hot showers. The staff were nothing but outstanding! Friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. They assist with tours, taxis, luggage storage, excellent breakfast as well as an early lunch bag to take on the road. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout.
Slight uphill walk from the main square which was a little bit of a challenge on this 65 year old body on my first day, prior to getting acclimated to the altitude. After the first day, it was a piece of cake. Since all the rooms are open to the middle of the building, there can be noise. There were a few rooms which were quite loud but I did notice the staff walking around asking them to quiet down. Since so many are here for tours it’s hard to not hear them early in the morning as they start leaving around 4am. If you’re an extremely light sleeping, this place may not be for you.

Amazing stay! Unbelievably kind and helpful staff, very comfortable and clean. Less than 10 minutes walk down hill to the main square. Delicious breakfast, catered for gluten free. Will definitely stay here again in returning to Cusco!
