An absolute masterpiece in Cusco – simply flawless!
Pros:

Our stay at Palacio Manco Capac was nothing short of perfection. The location is ideal, tucked away just a few blocks from the main plaza, offering both convenience and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, the staff was deeply impressive. Pilar and Jose at the reception were amazing, courteous, and incredibly quick to help us manage our altitude sickness, which made a world of difference. The rooms are elegant, extremely comfortable, and feature stunning views of Cusco. A highlight of our mornings was opening the window to find the hotel's resident alpacas right outside—my husband absolutely loved petting them! Every morning started with a delicious, homemade breakfast and exceptional service. John at the restaurant was incredibly friendly and attentive. It truly does not get better than this. I highly recommend this hotel; you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful, royal experience, convenient location, best views
Pros:

The view, the breakfast, the luxurious property that has a unique history dating back to the Incas reign. Beautiful royal and historic grounds overlooking Cusco and its beautiful plaza. The views from the room are amazing.

Love the alpacas 🦙 additions on hotel grounds. ❤️
Love the terrace garden overlooking the city, with warm cozy blankets. ❤️

The staff are courteous, friendly, and super helpful. Had my hot water bottle filled up by the staff daily. Tips about the general area and restaurant recommendations were helpful. They even offered me free oxygen tanks to ease my altitude sickness.

There’s a big parking space surrounded by green space, and access to the main rural roads, best location to avoid the cramped city roads. I drove out to the valleys with ease from the hotel.

Cons:

A steep walk back up to the hotel from the plaza, through dark alleys. Not easy with the altitude sickness. But good exercise and not a big deal.

Great Boutiqe Luxurey Hotel with Incredible Staff!
Pros:

Beautiful facilities with rich history and architecture. Great views of the city from our room. Enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. The staff was amazing They went the extra mile when I was getting sick with altitude sickness and made arrangements for my wife and I to change to their Lima property for our last night to get me down to sea level. That facility was amazing too!

Cons:

Can't think of anything about the property or staff that we did not like. The Cuzco altitude was another story as it was difficult to breath at night, however, they had oxygen in the lobby that was of help. Have never seen a hotel do this for you and that is with over 40 years skiing in the mountains of CO.

Great staff, comfortable rooms & amazing views
Pros:

The staff at Palacio Manco Capac made our stay even better - everyone was super helpful and friendly. We want to shout out Jose in particular who was accommodating and even gave us our choice of room for an upgrade when we arrived - nothing was too much for him and the team.

The food at breakfast, plus room service from the restaurant for dinner when we’d had long days, was all delicious.

The views and buildings were also great and we never got too cold (they maybe have upgraded their heating options and it was plenty for us!). Whilst it is a bit of a walk up to the hotel from the centre of Cusco, we would recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with friendly and efficient staff. A special thanks to John for excellent service and helping us learn a little Spanish. And to Carmen too for tips on local knowledge. After travelling the massage was welcome and excellent quality and value. It is an advantage to be above the city as the air is cleaner (important when at high altitude). Taxi just a few sol to get back up the hill
