The staff were exceptional and the location was great
The location was fantastic close to the main square and all good restaurants and shops etc. The staff were so friendly and welcoming - particularly Juan, Carlos & Katiusca! It felt very safe and comfortable for a solo traveller.
The house, the setup and the staff were absolutely great! we felt at home at all times!
We loved the rooms, the patio and its flowers; where we enjoyed the serenity of the place while having a few cups of tea. The location couldn't be any better as we were very close to the plaza de armas, and to a wide range of great restaurants and shops.
Breakfast was in general good, however as a tip for future improvements will suggest the property to pay special attention to the freshness of the processed meat (salami cuts were not fresh on the 2nd day of our stay).
Other food on offer, the chef and the staff were great!
El hotel es pequeño pero acogedor, el personal es súper amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte en todo lo que necesitas. La ubicación es céntrica, tienes la plaza a unas cuadras.
Tal vez el que a veces se demoraban un poco al abrir la puerta, pero realmente no fue relevante.

Rooms can be considered small
Some rooms (especially 1st floor) are too noisy. Rooms are facing inside hall, therefore you hear all the noise made by other people.
Comfortable bed. Hot water. Location, close to everything. Refreshments coffee tea water available 24/7. Good breakfast.

Make signage more visible for no paper in toilets.

Décoration charmante et authentique, petit déjeuner complet. Belle terrasse et jolie vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner.

Mention spéciale pour la tarte d'anniversaire et le gentil mot avec, qui était l'apothéose d'une super journée et dont j'avais bien besoin n'ayant pas pu dîner !
La connexion internet était lente le matin entre 7 et 9h (quand tout le monde se connecte dessus).

Las habitacion super incomoda. Pequeña en tamaño y tambien el tamaño de la cama. Poco confortable.

Location and convenience
No soundproofing. Really noisy. You could hear every bit of the action outside and the staff were really loud, starting early in the morning. Can’t sleep well at all.
The hotel has an unbeatable location, very central and walking distance to every point of interest in town. We stayed in this hotel twice, pre and post the Inca trail hike. Our first room was very close to the restaurant on the 3rd floor and we stayed up all night due to late arriving guests and very early breakfast preparations next door. We changed rooms upon our return and this changed our experience completely. the rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The colonial courtyard architectural style is beautiful but offers little peace becasue all the rooms are exposed to the central courtyard and the sounds echo loud. Staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and catered to. I would go back just because of their warmth and friendliness.
