Kotor, a town located below the slopes of mountain Lovćen, protected by defensive walls about 4.5 km long, will surely delight you. The old town of Kotor has been under the protection of UNESCO since 1979 and now it is one of the most visited cruise destinations in the Mediterranean. Walking around the narrow streets of Kotor, we will have the opportunity to get acquainted with many noble palaces and churches that carry distinctive elements of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque.
Our Lady of the Rocks Island, a shrine for sailors. You will discover the story of the island’s origin while visiting the church, as well as and the life in Bay of Kotor in its greatest bloom during the reign of Venice. The interior of the church is decorated with 68 oil paintings by famous Baroque painter Tripo Kokolja and votive gifts of seafarers. These are works of art that many prestigious galleries in the world would like to have in their collection.
The Blue Cave is the largest in a series of caves along Luštica. Its enchanting beauty distinguishes it from all others in this part of the Adriatic. The cave is named for its mesmerizing crystal-blue waters, which are created by sunlight reflecting off the seabed, giving the impression that the water itself glows from within—a truly magical sight for swimmers. NOTE: access to the Blue Cave depends on weather conditions; when the sea is rough, entering the cave is impossible
You’ll have about 20 minutes to swim. While on the speedboat, you will see Mamula Island, charming small villages like Perast, Stoliv, and Prčanj, as well as some of the most luxurious places in Montenegro, including Porto Novi—all from the water as you cruise through the stunning Bay of Kotor.
