    Petrovaradin Fortress

From the Petrovaradin Fortress, which is waiting for us, proudly rising on the edge of the Danube river bank, you will have an unforgettable view of the entire Novi Sad City. A few centuries ago the fortress was the border between east and west, between two great empires, and still, its underground tunnels keep many secrets. Today one of the biggest music festivals in Europe “Exit” takes place among its strong walls.

And since then it was the cultural center of the Serbians for a long time, still called ”Serbian Athens”. Pause for traditional lunch is planned around 1 pm (own expense).
