Your safety is paramount. We handle all logistics from Plužine: transfers through Piva Canyon, mountain meals, a hassle-free adventure.

Please ensure you bring: grippy walking boots or shoes, weather appropriate clothing, a hat, sunscreen, a bag capable of carrying weather-proof gear, your food, and at least 2 litres of water.

Transport to the trail head from Pluzine and transport back to Pluzine after the tour.
Lunch, water and snacks are provided, this will include a sandwich, fruit, nuts, energy bars and bottled/spring water for the day.

Pickup from public carpark next to Restoran Jezero, this is situated above the beach area on the lakeside in Pluzine town, next to the park area.

From Plužine, drive to Mratinje village. Follow the main asphalt road 1.3km through the village to a T-junction. Turn left onto the gravel track (suitable for all vehicles). Continue ~400m to a small village. Park on the grass by the seated shelter and stream crossing the road.

    Mratinje Dam: The drive to the trailhead itself is scenic, passing the impressive Mratinje Dam, one of Europe's highest. You'll get stunning views of the turquoise Piva Lake, Montenegro's largest artificial lake, nestled within the deep canyon. This is often the first "wow" moment of the day. Piva River Canyon: Mention the dramatic cliffs and the unique greenish-blue color of the Piva River/Lake, a hallmark of this region.
