Conclude with a tasting of local honey, royal jelly, propolis, and honey-based drinks like mead and herbal infusions.

What to expect

Begin your experience in a peaceful garden behind Belgrade’s Silos Cultural Center. After meeting your certified beekeeper host, you’ll learn how bees support urban biodiversity and receive a safety briefing.

Start with apitherapy: lie above a live hive (one person at a time) and feel the calming vibrations and scents while learning about the health benefits of hive air.

Then, suit up for hands-on beekeeping. Open a hive, observe the bees, spot the queen, and learn how honey is produced and stored.

Finish with a guided tasting of local honey, royal jelly, propolis, and pollen. Try honey-based drinks like mead and herbal infusions, and explore handmade beeswax items from our apiary.
