Begin your Sarajevo experience the Bosnian way—slow, social, and delicious. On this morning food tour, you’ll explore the city’s most charming neighborhoods while tasting authentic Bosnian breakfast favorites, just like locals do.
We’ll stop at family-run bakeries, hidden cafés, and traditional eateries, where you’ll try:
Freshly baked somun bread with creamy kajmak
Golden, hand-rolled burek, straight from the oven
A warm cup of Bosnian coffee, served with sugar cubes and centuries of tradition
A selection of Bosnian cheeses, cured meats, ajvar (pepper relish), and bestilj (fruit spread made from plums or other stone fruits)
As we walk and eat, your local host will guide you through Sarajevo’s culinary culture and morning rituals, sharing stories of the city's history, hospitality, and everyday life.
