About the park Vrelo - Borici
The trail is connected to the Borići picnic area, which is equipped with benches, tables and furniture for play, and is suitable for children and adults. At this location, there is a memorial fountain dedicated to haiduk Veljko Petrovic and the multifunctional complex Vrelo Summer Stage. Across the street from this park, in 1977, the Special Hospital Sokobanja was built for the treatment of non-specific lung diseases. In the time of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Vrelo Park was called King's meadow because there were no trees there.

King Petar, as a frequent guest of Sokobanja, is building his summer house here. A canteen was built for the workers, which later became the Lovački Dom tavern. At the site of today's Summer Stage, there was a lake that dried up after the Second World War. The very name of the park says that it abounds in pine forests. Next to it there are also mountain maple, Canadian poplar and numerous deciduous trees. The lush nature with set tables, camping places and a playground for children is a real paradise for family gatherings.

Fun facts
In the town of Borici, there was a pine afforestation in 1953, when the Royal Meadow was afforested, that is, a meadow that was donated to King Petar Karadjordjevic, after one visit to this area. As these pines were small, densely planted, the place was named Borici. It was known for secret love meetings. The women also invented the verse: If the husbands knew everything that the pines know, where would we end up?
