History of the Church of the Presentation of the Most Holy Mother of God
The Church of the Presentation of the Most Holy Mother of God was built in 1777. However, the story of this temple begins much earlier. On the site of today's church, there was a monastery at the beginning of the 18th century. As a remnant of that building, the chapel of St. Raphael has been preserved. Raphael was a monk who was proclaimed a saint and healer during his lifetime. According to the legend, after his death, healing water flowed from the old elm tree in the church gate, with which people treated various types of eye diseases. This elm, unfortunately, was destroyed in a fire about thirty years ago and remained cut branches to testify to the history of this temple.
