Tri kladenca waterfall - Basic information
In the center of the Arbinje Nature Reserve, within the Stara Planina Nature Park, there is the Tri kladenca waterfall (kledenac - spring). It is also known as Arbinjski waterfall, precisely because of the reserve in which it is located.
Characteristics of the Three Wells waterfall
It is located on the Dojkinac river, near the village of the same name. There are several other waterfalls in the same area, for which Stara Planina is very famous and appreciated. Three wells are located at about 1,650 meters above sea level, below the mountain peak Kopren. This landscape is rich in vegetation, and numerous juniper trees that grow along the road to the waterfall. During the spring, when the snow melts, the waterfall is bigger than usual.

How to get to Tri kladenca waterfall?
The waterfall can be reached only on foot and the road that passes through it is a real pleasure for lovers of hiking and trekking. However, you can cross a certain part of the road by car, ideally by off-road vehicle.
- It is about 50 km away from Pirot, so you will need to spend two hours by car, passing through Rsovce, Visočka Ržana, Vrelo, Brlog and Dojkince.
- You can get from Belgrade in 4 and a half hours by car, on the A1 highway, through Jagodina, Paracin, Nis and Pirot, then through smaller places - Rsovce, Visocka Rzana, Vrelo, Brlog and Dojkince.
- On foot: You will need a little less than three hours from the mountain lodge Dojkinci. We recommend this variant more, if you like walking, because you will have the opportunity to go through nature, and you will surely see something else interesting on the way to the waterfall.
Additional information
Be ready to walk, so dress and put on your shoes accordingly. In addition, remember that you are in a natural environment, so do not throw garbage outside the marked places. If there is no space for garbage disposal, keep it with you, and throw it away when you come across the place prescribed for that.
