Babin zub - basic information
A lot of people have heard of Babin zub (old lady's tooth) because of this specific name it bears, but this mountain peak hides much more than that. Babin Zub is primarily one of the peaks of Stara Planina, then a popular picnic area, but also a ski center that is visited by more and more tourists every year.
Characteristics of Babin zub
This mountain peak is located at an altitude of 1,780 meters and is one of the most visited peaks, among other things, because it begins the ascent to the highest peak, Midzor. What gave vhr this more than well-known name, is because the rock at the top resembles an old tooth.
Ski-resort of Babin zub
Ski centers have become one of the reasons why tourists visit Babin Zub more and more every winter. There are several trails that descend through this part of the mountain, in places such as Konjarnik, Sunčana dolina and Markova livada. The trails are of different lengths and weights, so they are suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. We are constantly working on improving the center, building gondolas, accommodation facilities and improving trails, so Stara Planina is increasingly increasing its capacity and opportunities to become one of the most visited ski resorts in the country.
