Djurdjevo hill or Araclijski stream is a park in Jagodina which is located on 5.35 ha and which is an ideal place for a vacation in nature without leaving the city.

History of Djurdjevo hill
In the travelogues of Felix Kanic, it is mentioned that there was a Roman castle and a church on the hill, and the name Araclijski stream was named after Atanasije Ivanovic Araclija, whose son gave their property to the municipality on the condition that a public park be built. The park was built in 1904.

Djurdjevo hill's look
There are many species of deciduous and evergreen trees in the park. In it you can rest on benches under 874 trees of forty different types of trees. The most numerous species in the park is the black pine, and the species are grouped all around the park. Within Djurdjevo hill, there is also the Potok picnic area, where a ski resort and sledding track were opened in 2018, as well as a ski school. Skiing and sledding is free, and renting ski equipment is 150 dinars a day. The ski resort is open from 9 am to late evening, so you can enjoy skiing and sledding on the 100-meter-long trail all day.
