- Golubac is surrounded by hills with a magical view of the Danube River. If you are planning to visit this city soon and you are a fan of panoramic views, we recommend that you stop by the hill Velika Čuka. It is located near the Golubac fortress. From the top of this hill you will experience the most beautiful view of the mentioned fortress and the Danube. You will want to stay long and enjoy the peace and quiet that this place will provide you!
- However, when you are already in Golubac, we advise you to visit 1 more lookout, which will leave you speechless! It is a lookout point of Ploče, an hour's drive from the Golubac fortress. It is located in the settlement of Tekija (municipality of Kladovo). From this place you will enjoy the view of the Djerdap gorge and you will wonder why you have not visited this place before, which is a real little paradise for adventurers!
