Kalenić Monastery is located near Rekovac, 12 km from the village of Oparić. This Orthodox monastery is dedicated to the Presentation of the Mother of God and represents an immovable cultural good as a cultural monument of exceptional importance. History of the Kalenic Monastery
The Kalenić Monastery represents the endowment of the protovestiary Bogdan, who was a distinguished nobleman of the despot Stefan Lazarević. The monastery church was built and painted in the 15th century (between 1407 and 1413). This monastery was deserted at the end of the 17th century, and the monks from Morača restored it in the middle of the 18th century. The professional renovation of the Kalenić Monastery was carried out between 1928 and 1930.

- Kalenić Monastery is about 180 km away from Belgrade, so you will travel to it by car for 2 and a half hours (via A1 / E75).
