Clock tower
It would be a real pity if you visited the Mostar Museum, and did not dedicate at least a little of your time to the Clock Tower, which is located next to the museum. It is a square tower, built in 1630, whose height is as much as 15 meters. According to oral traditions and folk poetry, the magnificent Clock Tower was built under the patronage of the influential Fatima Šarić:
"Saric Kaduna swore
That's how I am
And the Turkish fast of Ramadan
I will make a clock in Mostar
To be heard all over Mostar ".
This tower still stands proudly today and testifies to some past times and events that marked the history of Mostar. It is worth paying a little attention to her and finding out everything she has been hiding for centuries!
