Fortica Park - the most important information
Have you heard of the popular sports and adventure park in Mostar? It is the Fortica Park, which is located on a hill of the same name, at 500 meters above sea level. The main attraction of this place is the ZIP LINE (570 meters long), from which you can enjoy an incredible view of the whole of Mostar. The starting point is in front of the mountain lodge and the lookout point, while the end point is on the steep rocks of the sports climbing area "Stolac". If you want to take your little ones with you, there is a special children's ZIP LINE for them (whose length is 20 meters).

Fortica Park is an ideal place for all adventurers who come to enjoy sports activities and beautiful landscapes, which are an integral part of this place. The location of the park is ideal for mountain biking, and if you have a strong competitive spirit, there are also trails where competitions are held regularly. Near Fortica, you will be able to notice the Velež mountain with mapped forest roads, which can also be used for mountain biking. Various adrenaline activities await you in this park, such as:
- going down the ZIP LINE cable with a view of Mostar to the Stolac hill,
- hiking tour on the Stolac hill with a tour of Italian fortifications from the Second World War,
- rope descent down a cliff 25 meters high,
- touring the park in an open jeep and visiting the Austro-Hungarian fortifications from the First World War, as well as
- return home and refresh yourself with delicious, homemade juices.
How to get to Fortica Park?
Fortica Sports and Adventure Park is about 9 km away from the center of Mostar. You can reach it in 2 ways:
- by car - in fifteen minutes drive over the 29th Herzegovinian Strike Division or

Opening hours and ticket prices
- Fortica Adventure Park is open to all visitors on weekdays from 4 pm to 8 pm, while on weekends you can visit it from 10 am to 8 pm.
- Going down the ZIP LINE cable will cost you from 5 to 60 convertible marks, depending on which one you choose (children's, small, large or zip line tandem).
- A full day jeep trip to the Velež mountain with a tour of the Austro-Hungarian fortifications and the ruins of the military facility at the top will cost you 50 convertible marks, or about 3000 dinars.
