Lipska Cave - The most important information
The Lipska Cave is the only valorized cave in the territory of Montenegro. It consists of a beautiful, but definitely complicated system of tunnels and passages with a length of 2.5 km. Due to its beauty and natural importance, this cave is one of the most important tourist attractions in Montenegro. The experience is incredible and hard to describe in words. The beauty of Lipska Cave has been known since ancient times, since the time of Peter II Petrovic Njegos and King Nikola I, and it was discovered in the 19th century.
Opening hours and ticket price of the Lipska Cave
The Lipska Cave is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are sold 15 minutes before the time, of which there are 5. The price of the ticket for an adult is 10.9 EUR, while for children under 5 years it is 1 EUR, and for children from 5 to 15 years it is 6.9 EUR. The price of the family package is 29.9 EUR.
How to get to Lipska Cave?
The Lipska Cave is located in the village of Lipa Dobrska, about 5 km from the center of Cetinje, next to the famous Belvedere viewpoint. This cave can be reached by:
- By car - If you come by car, you need to turn right from the Cetinje-Podgorica main road onto the local road that leads to the famous national restaurant called Belvedere. Continue on that road to the village of Lipska Dobrska for about 3 km. If you started from the direction of Podgorica, turn off the main road and turn left onto the local road. There is excellent vertical signage on this road that will guide you to Lipska Cave.

The temperature in the cave varies from 8 to 12 degrees, so we recommend that you wear warm and comfortable clothes.
